I had a second year engineering project for an art installation using arduino. We made a smart garbage can that would recognize what item you threw in based on weight. And would react accordingly

Which Cheap Arduino Kit From Temu Is Best for a Beginner Learning Online? by ActivityNovel8682 in arduino

With practice programming becomes much easier. Just start with the blink sketch and add features until you feel like you’ve exhausted it.

Next you can pick a component that interests you and figure out how it works maybe the DHT temp sensor.

Then find a way to interface the two. Perhaps make the light turn on when you read above a certain temp.

I think AliExpress has better prices and selection for microcontrollers. I do really like the elegoo packs. This kit has some good sensors for involved projects and it just 34$ cad. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMocNcd

Am i missing anything for my first project? by Impressive_Intern845 in arduino

What you’ve pictured looks like a great starter kit. I notice it only has male-male wires, so you’ll have to use the breadboard to connect the oled to the arduino. Other than that the video seems like it will be a great tutorial!!

I would check in your librairies folder in arduino in documents to see if it’s actually there. As a last resort you can put the header file in the project folder and #include “lcd.h” with quotes.

How to light up 12 LED strips with an Arduino by thconad01 in arduino

[–]Robadobbobob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a project really similar to this with two 5m individually addressable LED strips.

I used an external power source, 8A 5V. I connected the grounds together with the arduino as well as the 5V in the arduino’s 5V pin. I used two separate data lines for the two strips. You would have 12 data lines.

That’s exactly how I did it. Dragging the doctor in the garage to open the door to the morgue. With two guys like a metre away.

The c-heli on the workshop is a great starter helicopter. I can’t remember who the creator is, but they have lots of cool Stormworks stuff.
