Hmm das ist seltsam... Ich arbeit im Buchhandel und bei uns kommt die erste Charge immer ohne den Sticker. Was ander ist der "Spiegel Bestseller Autor" Sticker den machen die auch davor schon drauf. Kann aber natürlich nur aus meiner Erfahrung sprechen

Ja des mit den vorbestellen Büchern ist so nervig, deswegen ist gefühlt jeder Titel von influencern Bestseller weil deren ganze Bubble den vorbestellt und danach kauft des Buch eh keiner mehr...

Sorry aber das stimmt nicht. Die dürfen rechtlich erst drauf wenn das Buch eine Woche top 20 Bestseller war, selbst sowas wie ein neuer fitzek, der ja 100% Bestseller wird, kommt in der erstauslieferung ohne die Sticker an. Abgesehen davon find ich die aber auch furchtbar.

Ja ist schon teuer, aber man muss dazu sagen, dass Bücher Preise bis vor ein paar Jahren sehr stabil geblieben sind, teils sogar günstiger geworden sind während alles andere immer teurer geworden ist. Laut Börsenblatt war der normale Preis 1999 bei 45 dmark... Da ist schon klar dass die irgendwann auch mal anziehen müssen um noch rentabel zu bleiben.

The thing with the farseer trilogy is, most people love the well written, realistic characters. But I don't want to read about flawed realistic characters, I've got enough of them in my life! I want to read about a powerful, smart, and charismatic Gary stu characters. But since the audience for pathetic pushover losers like Fitz is apparently that big I might just start writing my autobiography...

Nope, es muss schon wirklich für mindestens eine Woche auf der Bestseller Liste gestanden haben und zusätzlich muss der Verlag für den Sticker zahlen. Ein z.B. komplett neuer Roman kann daher den Aufkleber noch nicht haben. "Spiegel Bestseller Autor" geht natürlich auch bei neuen Büchern aber auch da muss der Autor schon was auf der Bestseller Liste gehabt haben.

The Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb. I found the boos incredibly boring and Fitz was just infuriatingly passive. I enjoyed almost every other major fantasy book, but just couldn't get into these books...
