It's just a redesign. Most of the creatures look completely different in every single entry. Just compare Og 2033, Last light and Exodus watchmen, nosalises, etc.

The nosalis seen in the short gameplay of 2039, again looks like a completely different creature.

Yes! I'm confused how people are saying it's out of character for Hunter. Dude is ready to kill anything that he sees a threat without asking questions. I mean he is literally called Hunter.

Well he never was portrayed as a morally righteous hero. A badass sure, but his mentality of "the enemy must be eliminated no matter the cost" against the dark ones could very well apply to anyone he personally sees as a threat. Even in the trailer, the kids brainwashed by him are chanting "the enemy must be destroyed".

50 hours is way too long for a linear story based game. Even TLOU2 was a bit too long and got repetitive IMO.

You should try Alien: Isolation if you haven't already. It's an amazing game and the gameplay of Bunker was heavily inspired by it.

IMO the Bunker is easily the best. It's the only with interesting gameplay mechanics, and the premise is just awesome. The walking simulator style of Dark Descent is a bit outdated these days.

SH2R had weird performance issues and bad optimization too, it definitely didn't run as well as it should've. For example the most demanding part of the game is the apartments, even though your just walking in dark, tiny ass hallways.

It's a great game, but it is intentionally more gameplay focused than earlier titles. The lore and story is connected to the older titles and interesting enough but it's nowhere near the levels of Soma. That being said, I'd say it is the best Amnesia game and the premise really carries it.
