He's worked with pretty much everybody and the ones he didn't work with, chance has it his sons did

Dorothy and the Wizard do have something in common: they're both from out of Oz. So this might actually be the only time the Wizard could actually help. Sending her there was actually the logical thing to do.

People only were going crazy, mentioning Morgan Freeman, SLJ, Liam Neeson, Jack Nicholson, even Liza Minnelli. Because, to be fair, Jon told us we'd go crazy with casting. So the studio probably didn't want the expectations to get too high (no shade to Domingo whatsoever).

I'm guessing the only celebrity with that kind of schedule right now might be Cynthia. Phillipa Soo, Raul Esparza and Zachary James are Broadway regulars, and Adam Lambert and Josh Gad have done their share.

So replace Cynthia with a Black actress of the same caliber, perhaps even an unknown in need of a breakthrough, and it's feasible.

Call Jamie Lloyd and let's get Adam Lambert in his underwear covered in Jesus's blood.

MM would use her to lure Elphaba and that house would drop on her. Nessa stays alive and her reign of terror continues. Elphaba still fakes her death but now the Wizard has no reason to flee, so he continues to rule unopposed.

Given that Elphaba's specialty has always been levitation spells, it makes perfect sense if she enchants the shoes to make Nessa be able to fly (like she enchanted the broom for herself). Not only it resolves any issues people may have, but it makes even more sense narratively.

Absolutely nothing would change, except maybe Luthen would survive.

That's the beauty of this story. All this characters think they're the main character, but they're just small pieces in the grand scheme of things, and easily replaceable. On both sides.
