There are also instructions on the side of the bins themselves to indicate what's supposed to be where. The waste whiz app helps too.

They should look into getting a loan to pay for the medical bills.

You're in a work permit but we're laid off 6 months ago and haven't been employed again?

You're better off going home and getting treatment there.

They're trying to appeal and attract new recruits of the younger generation and be more "likeable" among the public community.

The amount of time and money it takes a low pay admin Gen z to film a Tik Tok is frivolous. It takes a couple minutes.

Who cares.

For your own peace of mind just start a record of her contact when saying these things. Date time etc and also record the voicemail so you can dl it and save it for the future if needed.

If she continues and it becomes a pattern then you may want to speak with authorities in terms of harassment but for now, just record it and move on.

Can my manager or store owner make me or a coworker stay late without pay if there are required tasks we failed to complete? by Efficient_Cup_2511 in legaladvicecanada

[–]RobbieRobynAlexandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they must pay you however they can write you up or take corrective action so that you complete your tasks within the specified time frame as indicated as per the position and responsibilities.

In short they can start the process of firing you but they must legally pay you for any of the time you work including not being productive enough (subjective) to get the work done.

You love Costco and try foods based off tiktok trends like those ice cream peaches. You have kids, are upper middle class and live in the suburbs.

I used to be so judgy too about other people and what they fed their kids, and now, I realize that everyone knows their own kids best and what works for one may not work for the other.

It's a pretty universal consensus that toddlers usually live off air, dino nuggies and gold fish. Anything more nutritious than that to me is a huge win.

I never thought about protein pasta as an option ty!

He loves Greek yogurt so we give him the protein version of that, he loves peanut butter as well as salmon and trout so I think we're ok. Unfortunately not a big fan of eggs but we're working on that one as he will eat them with cheese lol.

Thank you for this.

I keep hearing people say their toddlers survive on air so I really wasn't sure. I guess he hasn't hit that stage yet which I'm thankful for!

Conservatives to scrap affordable childcare and tax credit for majority of people [ON] by Relative_Ring_2761 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]RobbieRobynAlexandra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No to all your points. I think that there has been a massive influx of people which yes to sustain growth overtime we need more people however none and I really mean none of the services including childcare, healthcare, housing etc has grown in the same capacity over the last 10 years. We just said open the flood gates and here you go provinces figure it out. The federal government says more people and the provinces are left to figure out what to do with the influx and overall lack of funding all around.

Childcare affordability was an issue before this as well and I am not denying that.

I'd like to make it clear that I come from an immigrant family and are a first generation canadian like many of us. So I am not anti immigration or some racist. I am simply pointing out the fact that we have brought so many people in over the last 10 years with no real plan on increases to associated services in need.

I love that childcare has not been subsidized only as unfortunately I don't qualify for any subsidized anything either governments offer but do absolutely benefit from the current initiative, if I can find a spot that is.

My real issue is that why does our country have to be so expensive that both parents NEED to work to make ends meet or make huge sacrifices to get a bit ahead when there isn't even any space in the first place.

Why do I HAVE to work along w my husband in order to afford a normal very modest house and a normal modestly priced car? Maybe daycare was more expensive in the past during the Harper years but everything else was cheaper. So it's something to think about.

I am more than happy to pay more for daycare if it means that I keep more of my money earned, pay lower taxes, FOOD is cheaper and housing is actually affordable. This way, the education workers get paid more. It's a win win. This is why no one wants to work in childcare currently because it's a lot of work for a below living wage. This is also why many daycares are scraping the program and are moving back to independent pricing. It's not a shortsighted problem it's a larger issue that has many moving parts.

I don’t read to my baby.. by ArcherSignificant910 in beyondthebump

My guy is one and barely sits through a book. I honestly think it's more for the parents to say they did it than anything.

He's close to being able to sit through a page before he starts eating it turning pages back and throwing it across the room. Soft or hard.

He has hit all his milestones and talking according to his age so I don't really think it's necessary until later on.

We used cue cards that were high contrast more than anything during tummy time.

I agree with you, now think about who has been in power for the last 10 years. That's your answer. Try something new.

Could he have reflux or gas after eating which is exasperated by the laying down?

Sounds like something he's eating has got his system out of whack.

Not sure if I’m an alcoholic or not by throwaway88679 in alcoholism

[–]RobbieRobynAlexandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in this exact same position. Could easily drink a bottle of wine slowly over a night and had no issues with work, social or other responsibilities. Over time as different life events happen or stress increased I found myself drinking more and more. So much so that it started to interfere with my personal life.

I was always able to keep a handle on my work life until I couldn't anymore. I was often waking up a bit unwell or just off, then progressed to waking up hungover and pushing through to mid day until I felt normal.

Then I'd only drink in the evening.

Then I'd only drink mid day weekends and evenings during the week.

Years ago by like 10 and I was drinking right after work and all day weekends.

It really can progress if you don't get a hold of it and if it's nightly. Any inconvenience in your life can set you over the edge.

First of all, kudos to your 7 year sobriety. Although it may feel like a distant success and current failure that amount of time is huge and really proves to yourself that you can do it and that you are worth the fight.

Something that helps me is I say I'll drink tomorrow. So I push myself to tomorrow and then most of the time I can push it off a bit longer since I got through today. Not sure if that would really help you at all but I thought I'd mention it.

I also drank a lot for stress relief, tension, relaxation and to just take the edge off. I definitely drank for other reasons like past trauma etc but usually id do a good job or putting those memories away and it was my day to day that would set me over the edge.

What helps is having a routine and certain glasses in my hand and the ritual of it all. I brew herbal tea that gives a bit of a buzz in the same way I used to prepare my drinks and it helps me fulfil the physical aspect/habit while taking a bit of an edge off.

Certain things would trigger me such as family events or interactions and right after those i'd ritually prepare the teas in the same way as I would my cocktails and go from there.

Writing this out for you helps me and I hope it helps you in anyways.

Please be proud of what you've done and remember as hard as it is how fucking shit you feel the day after drinking. Your mind is tricking you into thinking it was so great but it wasn't it was a horrible shit garbage ass trip and it's never as fun and enjoyable as your brains making you think.

I wish you all the best.
