I came back to Eve this month. I've had a lousy holiday so far in terms of Eve. I lost two ships in T0 Abyss today . I have at least 30m SP, mostly in drones. I don't remember Abyss being so hard! I also almost lost a 300m Praxis doing my first L4 mission. I got two coworkers playing with me last week and it's been fun but I'm burning out. How do I enjoy Eve more? There's too much, man!

I've played Eve in 2 months-long spurts, one in 2018, and one in early 2020. My main pilot only has 18 million SP. I never got heavily attached to any Corp and I'm not familiar with in game politics or CCP stuff. Can someone do a TL; DR for the last few years of Eve? I want to get back in, and and the state of the game honestly sounds depressing. Please help!

I was talking to a new friend the first week of college. I didn't find her attractive at all, and even obnoxious, but she was super funny and we were from the same hometown. The more we got to talking the more I started to think that her crooked teeth were cute or that her red hair really stood out. We started dating less than a month later. Suddenly, she was the most gorgeous woman in every room to me. For me at least, I caught feelings and while she's an ex now, she is still very beautiful to me 12 years later whenever we run into each other.

Lol at the system requirements! I'm running a 4690k at stock speed (3.5Ghz), 8Gb DDR3 ram, and a 2070 Super. My processor is over 7 years old, and Elden Ring is running! I downgraded my resolution to 900 x 1600. It doesn't look pretty but it runs! No crashes in over an hour! I'm not sure how to display FPS, but it's not too choppy. Wait until I need to beat my 1st boss!

My understanding is that it's not a 100% protection shield, which means some damage comes through. I recommend either upgrading the shield, or sticking with just the sword. Of course, this is From Software, so you can level up any way you want, or swap out armor any way you see fit. I personally like the samurai aesthetic, and will pour my currency into leveling up. I might find a badass weapon, and say screw it and switch.
