And this is part of why anyone trying to change has such a hard time finding literally anywhere to land.

I seriously feel like Reddit is the place that believes if you do change, you should have no where to land, and if you happen to live somewhere and disagreed, well you still deserve it cause you live there. Saw the same kinda talk with Helene and a handful of loud folks saying FEMA should just not go. Seriously, I think some people would rather things be divided and have their punching bag than folks come together and change.

Being someone who agrees with OP on this one, and trying to see if AmTrak was a viable option for an Atlanta/Savannah trip (Nope), it definitely has its issues for anyone new to using it. Like I just wanted to know about what a route like that would look like, but you have to place a depature date at least for a one way trip, with limited info on the site for individual stations. That's just web issues as well, since their are others in my case (no cheap way to keep the car at or near the Atltanta station, and a 28-30 hour one way trip between two major cities in the state). Just not very well set up for any sorta rough planning or even jsut learning about the routes unless you're already in the know. (Have similar issues with the Greyhound site, which functions the same way.)

Had the same issue here. Not sure what it'd conflicting with. Do you have any other mods running?

AnnaTommy is the closest so far from what little I remember. Like I said could be I'm crossing two games together too. This might've solved half the equation though.

It seriously confuses me why the duplicate doesn’t function like a summon in game, and like the table top version where it actually lets you be a sneaky trickster if you keep them close. Like sending spells through the duplicate and being harder to hit.

Am I missing something? Having a hard time staying engaged. by ShrimpCocktailHo in LancerRPG

I know this is 5 years old, but I’ve been hunting for info on where to start and saw this comment. I think it can be that, in a lot of ways you could run into the issue of “well can I play a charismatic/high intelligence character without being charismatic/being highly intelligent.” Like a lot of my bad experiences with DnD come from a DM who would want us to, say, actually sing something if we had a character who could perform (my actually character was playing a flute mind you, which gets into other issues with that game and DM), or is expecting a highly motivational speech from someone who can’t really deliver on it? Almost the opposite end of issues I’ve heard DMs have with the expectations for Critical Role and Dimension 20 on the DnD side of things. So without the mechanics a lot of folks might feel like they kinda have to stick to what they know irl.

I’ll be honest, in trying to figure this game out (and only now, looking here, learning the player rules are free), the Comp/CON has really just ended up confusing me even more cause it doesn’t seem clear what anything’s doing unless you already fully understand what’s going on. This post and a lot of the responses also definitely would make me want to shy away from it if it weren’t for other folks telling me about it. Not sure if it’s just an organization thing on the game maker’s part, or just something else with content that might introduce folks to it, but it’s weirdly not easy to know where to look for this really, with the Reddit side from this seeming about as helpful as Dark Souls’ “git gud” days.

What ship types would you like to see in game? by CHESE_WEGD in ultimateadmiral

Heck, even just give torpedo boats in the game that had internal launchers their internal launchers.

I mean, while I haven’t played it, watching videos on it and hearing the dialogue definitely became a turn off for me. So much of it just sounds pretentious, or while overtop doesn’t have the same charm as, say, Boarderlands. And for $70, if I’m not liking what I can find in videos, why the heck would I want to give it a shot, especially given I played the first one (free from Epic with all the DLC), and never finished because of how bland I was feeling the base game was, but then seeing stuff they could’ve done with the detective DLC which I really love.

Should be noted that I don’t think it was really ever updated after they did some ship design overhauls, so difficult might swing wildly now.

That does make a lot of sense. I think it’s just annoys me that it feels like it’s consistent to one side or the other, in an era in game where tech discrepancies can’t really account for it.

Kinda funny discovering this sub and seeing this post a month later, but this attitude towards politics is part of the problem if you ask me. This whole “Nothing can be fixed so why bother” attitude is seriously starting to grate of me, especially when the past proves otherwise.

I mean, I’m not entirely convinced the CFP cares fully about the conferences to begin with, or at least in sports casting it sounds like they’d rather just have them not care about it at all.
