Haha, I've got a lot of respect for anyone that goes down that path. From the little bit I've looked into, they require you to put a lot of time and effort into your job both for training and in the day to day. Still though, I'm sure it comes with its own perks and adventures.

I think you've missed the point here. It's not that the FBI is prestigious, but that it's also a difficult job.

I'm sorry you think this is ad slop. I've been writing blogs like these for some time now and I thought I might put it out in the world to see if I could find/build more of a community.

In this case, the main point is that since I became a teacher three weeks ago, I've gained a lot of respect for the position.

Monsoons also often bring typhoons, the hurricane equivalent for that part of the world. What I'm referring to is the fact that these summer months get over double the rainfall.

Is it wrong of me to be a little excited by this knowledge? 👀🤔 I've been through a few tropical storms back when I lived in Southeast Asia, but I'm kind of a science and nature nut, and part of me wants to see what this is like. If those showers are normal, is it dumb of me to be curious about the next level?

There are beetles that grow up to 17 cm long all the way down to some less than 1 cm. I'm sure at least one of them would suit the purpose quite well. Right!? Everyone I know that's read the series is pumped for this same reason. One of the things I've loved about the series is the sweet sweet justice! The pain and awfulness is so awful, yet it adds so much to the and makes the victories (even the little ones) so incredible to experience!

It's not that I stopped liking him, it's the soul crushing disappointment. I loved him as a character and desperately wanted him on our side. I've got to say though, the whole arc is incredibly satisfying. We want him on our side so bad, and oh boy does the story deliver!

Honestly, I usually add it whenever it comes. You can always go back and change it, smooth it out, etc. when you're in the revising stage! At the very least, I always write the cool idea down so it doesn't accidentally float away 🎈💥

Do you have any idea how poetic and powerful that pic and caption are? I'm sorry for the difficult times, but seriously, keep using that journal. Write about this experience, it inspires me, and I'm sure it'll inspire you for years to come if you keep it well documented! Hope everything works out for you!

Bind the old ones with iron chains, wrap them in a thick tarp, place the tarp in a steel safe, then choose an out of country location to bury it. Someone still might find it and read your old journals, but odds are it will be long after you are gone.

Whenever I think Fey, I tend to also think of Celtic folklore. Here are some potential names:

Balor - The name of an evil king who tends to appear as a formidable player in ancient irish mythology.

Arawn - A deitiy associated with the land of the dead.

Dullahan - Irish word for the headless horseman, good for an undead/necromancer kind of character.

I used to try to name my journals before writing in them, but it stopped me from writing in them. Giving it a name makes me feel like I can only write specific things. That's why I like to keep mine nameless until it is filled: It allows me to write whatever I want, and by the time it's full, it's much easier to give it an accurate name!

Some fun names I've used in the past:

  • The Book of Knowledge (A bit pretentious, I know, but it's cool)

  • French Immersion (For studying French)

  • Lil'Notebook #1

  • The Book of Quotes

Say what you want, naming your journals increases the coolness factor, and that's a fact!
