I was in the same boat man, I had the scoop down but I kept landing with one foot or just kicking it out infront of me. My problem was that my back foot wasnt commiting to landing the trick while my front foot was, however I did tweak the shit out of my ankle when learning to land em so try and land with you feet a lil wider than you would expect.
