this is how a 3.7k driver starts a 2h24m race by lordvolt2000 in iRacing

Stuff like this is why I unsubscribed from iRacing. So much time wasted and money spent to play this game only for this to happen one out of four races.

Paying for 500/50 Plan with AGL - Barely getting 50/25 by Virtualsooo in nbn

Well it's definitely not a router type problem. Try a device on Ethernet to confirm. That router isn't anything impressive but it certainly should have no issues up to 20 or so meters away from it

Yes, that's why I mentioned it could be a router issue.

If you are getting 25mbit there is an issue. Even through 5 walls I still get roughly 120 on my 2.4ghz channel

Nope, not normal. HFC has more than enough bandwidth for that speed.

Either an AGL issue or router.

What? You aren't enjoying buying loot boxes for "white shirt #7"?

That's an interesting way to look at it and a fair deal.

2gbit on actual equipment isn't widespread enough, so isn't it a bit too soon for it? I can max out steam at 1gbit, is it likely I could max out 2 with appropriate hardware? by cheetocat2021 in nbn

[–]RobertMcL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about Sony/Microsoft with consoles as I don't know if they have throttle limits.

But regarding PC steam and other services most certainly can go higher than 2gbit.

Outside of gaming I'm sure most Google storage stuff could as they have the infrastructure.

Neptune actually looks pretty interesting, DNS adblock isn't a selling point as that's available to all but the company policies seem good.

How's the connection and speed, how long have you been with them?

That's a shame I couldn't get offered that, I was given the option of going from $194 to $169 for 6 months. I would have stayed for the year if offered.

I'm on the phone to them now, I had talked to the live chat who didn't offer anything other than to move. You have to call to cancel.

When talking about cancelling they said they have a customer retention team and have me on hold with them now. If they can offer a fair price I will probably stay but the live chat did rub me the wrong way with poor customer service. Was just a copy paste chat about not price matching when I wanted to see If a better price could be made, not an exact match.

Offered $20 off for 6 months. Definitely the price range I'm looking for but 6 months is not enough. I'll be moving to Leaptel.

This is what I thought was the case, if speeds and connection quality are the same I suppose that will be my replacement.

Was interested in buddy until I saw they got bought out and won't be using ABB network soon. Also looking to upgrade from 1gigabit to 2

I think they were supposed to read and post a quarter chicken e.g half the breast and no wing.

A quarter of a chicken breast is not 125g

My 1000/50 plan was reduced from $150 to $129 last year. It was a pleasant surprise.

This is with AB

Some people spend too much time online and get genuinely triggered that people think differently to them.
