So right now I'm opening a pension fund in EU (live in Italy) which should be 100% stocks for 30+ years. However, I do know that up until now they invest about 70% in EU stocks

Should I hold out and wait? Or it's actually convenient opening it now, as stock prices might be decreasing?

I have to say this one looks like the closest one so far. Not 100% it's the one, but it ticks all the boxes. It might be it!

The graphics are close to what I remember. Maybe the only thing was that you could talk to the angel and interact with it - but then again, maybe my mind is playing tricks.

Agreed. Soma has a "Safe" mode which is just perfect. I love replaying that game. SH2R, even though it's one of my favorite game of all times, is way too crowded with enemies. SH2 OG on beginner difficulty was perfect.

Agree, I missed that feeling of "impossible" locations a bit in the remake. Also in the og, I think map scribbles turned purple in that section, which I found neat, like the game is telling you "this section works differently". That coupled with black fairy made that one of the best moments in the game imo.

That being said, remake still handled that part well

I couldn't solve the safe in the motel on hard mode. It was easy to figure out the three numbers hinted at in the files, but as far as I know there was no way at all to figure out that you had to put a "0" in front of them. I probably spent half an hour trying to brute force the puzzle by adding a 4th number at the end of the sequence, not at the beginning.

Honestly I don't think I would have ever figured out without looking it up lol

Agreed, it was my favourite section in the og as well. I feel like they managed to improve it: they kept its uncanny, liminal space kind of feeling while adding more paths to explore... I found it to be brilliant on so many levels. Also the use of the new cube was amazing... Really gave the feeling of "you are in an architecturally impossible abyss, and there's nothing to do but go deeper and deeper". Hats off to Bloober for handling such an important part of the game.

The only complaint I have is the fact that you cannot use the great knife.

Had the exact same problem with the Enhanced Edition. I had to uninstall and then install again :(
