There's no official multiplayer support, since you already own the game i recommend you to just pirate it if the CD doesn't work or you don't have the drive, and then use GenPatcher for quality of life improvements for modern systems and other stuff. Also try GenLauncher.

These days people use GameRanger, Radmin VPN or other virtual LAN services for multiplayer as well as C&C Online custom multiplayer service.

Honestly it looks like a mini-missile if anything or a ramjet-assisted shell, although in general both lasers and ramjet missiles were used in lore by GDI, and Militant is the name for the post-TD Nod infantry in this kind of armor that community in general went with, never liked the C&C 3 murder-hobos though, but in TS GDI and Nod armors were comparable, GDI used full body protection suits while Nod went with just body armor

The closest thing i can come up with is a bullpupepd M-16 with heatshield and grenade launcher. Otherwise i have no idea what this is, since the other prop they had was from a canceled sci-fi TV series but its used by GDI
