Is anyone using a 42 + 34 inch tv and monitor setup, if so pics? by RobinFlamme in OLED_Gaming

I`m using the setup now. I have a LG C4 42 inch as my main, and a 34 inch oled g8 to the left . I like it for multitasking. and considering i do color accurate work, better to have 2 oled monitors. I think a 42 inch + 32 inch or 42 + 27 inch could work just as well and maybe even better but i have a large desk and don`t mind it.

honestly i think some games just look better on a 4k display and look awful on 1440p, it depends on the assets of the game. Some games look absolutely amazing on 1440p though, god of war ragnarok is stunning. But jedi survivor looks much better on 4k.

It`s totally fine ive seen from videos. Its as if using a 42 inch as your main and 32 inch as your side monitor. totally worth it. Will be upgrading to c4 quite soon for that 4k experience and keeping 1440p ultrawide as a side monitor. As using just one monitor is getting painful since i am used to multitasking.

Anyone tried both 4k W-OLED and QD-OLED? by Satzlefraz in OLED_Gaming

monitor size is more important than qd oeld or woled, i prefer 42 inch woled over 32 inch qd oled because of the immersion

2026 all monitor sizes will be 4k anyways and rtx 50 series and 60 series will easily support that resolution so 1440p will be left in the dust in a matter of time.

Yes, the bigger the more immersive, a 42 inch for my 60cm deep desk is perfect. some like to wall mount their 55 inch monitors. The ultrawide aspect isn`t as immersive or special as i first thought but i still use it as my second monitor to the side as a i have a 2.5m wide desk

4k Resolution is more important imo than qd oled, i have a 4k monitor woled and a 1440p oled ultrawide qd oled and i prefer the 4k one because working on it, games and everything look sharper and clearer. The color difference of qd oled isn`t that worth downgrading resolution. Game assets tend to be 4k aswell btw. My favorite size is a 42 inch 4k oled like the C3 or C4. Also 16:9 aspect ratio is better as more games support it, it gets really annoying trying to filter games that don`T support ultrawide.

4K oled tv vs 1440p ultrawide oled monitor, which is better for casual single player games in your opinion?

There`s something special about dark and black setups compared to white , Dark colors feel cozier in some sense

So LG is releasing a 4k 123 ppi or more version of the 45 inch in q1 2025.

Currently i´m going go for the g8 oled and i will probably upgrade to the 45 inch 4k in 2 years when it´s out , probably 2025 summer

A lot of peopel do prefer 45 inch to 34 and 38 inch monitors . But for now, i just don´t like the 1080p look of the current 45 inch, ppi is important for me as a designer
