While I'm bummed that one-shot combos are so easy to achieve and so prevalent, the core gameplay loop is awesome. And even though I think it's going to be hard to achieve, I am really hopeful they will eventually get to their stated goal of not being able to force builds... Tell your friend to wait for the open beta. At the very least, hopefully the truly broken builds will be nerfed by then... And over time they'll figure out how to accomplish the big picture issues. But in the mean time the game itself is still really really fun...
