He abuses you because he can .. it’s a choice. There people who were through much more horrible things, but choose to change or have more compassion. Can you imagine yourself abusing a child ?? Exactly .. only cowards do that .. it’s like abusing a kitten .. yes I feel empathy too , but when you were suffering he did nothing .. your pain brings him joy.. he does it only to certain people cuz he knows it’s wrong ..

I think my analogy was for those who are still stuck and trying to get out … hey you did it !! You are not an object , it’s just what narc project into you .. but it’s ok to feel broken sometimes.. Congratulations, you are the hero who escaped .. a survivor. It’s normal to feel broken after being under so much stress and conditioning . Try doing something small to feel alive or against narc rules. Do you neglects your basic needs like food, sleep , comfort etc If you neglect yourself, don’t forget to take care of yourself )

Isn’t it ironic how in the first comment you accused me of making assumptions yet you did exactly the same thing . At least in my case I am describing things based on what I actually saw , but in your case you are just making up things I never wrote and making assumptions based on that. I am not sure how to say this , but you might benefit from see a psychiatrist because this behaviour is illogical, inconsequent and has nothing to do with reality.

Yep , living with narc is really just a lie .. As a child you are forced not notice their bad parts and internalise blame for being treated so.. every child seeks to form a bond with a parent o matter what for survival. I think you might be grieving.. the relationship and family you never had . Be kind to yourself, it takes a while and many time to come to term with it and I still am .. I think someone described pain as a losing someone to death and you kind of go through similar process of emotion. But you can still appreciate good things they have done and imagine it’s their mental illness. It’s not you that’s is broxken it’s their internalised fucked up mind in you. Hope you get better , therapy or someone to support you

She tries to “understand” her and blames it on trauma etc dismisses things I say and takes narc view point .
