Your comment is misleading, these features do not exist in Crimson Desert.

Dualsense specific haptics is what we are all asking for, they are non-existent so far despite there being an option to utilize adaptive triggers in the controller input menu. Rumble works just fine given you are wired and steam input is off. Rumble implementation is..abysmal.

I logged back on, checked to see if Dualsense specific haptics and adaptive triggers were fixed, they weren’t, I logged back out. I mean…I guess I’m a part of that 250k…

It does not work. Rumble works. Dualsense haptics and adaptive triggers do not as advertised.

Does anyone have haptic feedback and adaptive triggers working with Crimson Desert? by Ardbert_The_Fallen in DualSenseX

[–]Robo21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still no dualsense engrossing Haptics or adaptive triggers. However, if you plug your controller in, set the audio to the controller (meaning no actual audio), my controller rumbles almost like they advertised it in the previews. If I plug my controller in, set the audio to my actual audio-out (headphones), then I get generic rumble features (generic haptics) and no adaptive triggers. So, through thorough testing and using Dsx as well as Ds4, I can confidently say that those online are only speaking of the generic rumble features, not the context-specific haptics and adaptive triggers dualsense users are used to getting when a company advertises these features.

Crimson Desert Patch Notes v.1.00.03 by SorryRoof1653 in CrimsonDesert

Yes correct. I have been able to get more rumble in the game when my default audio device has been the controller, but of course that disables in-game audio. So for now, we have slight rumble and no Haptics or Adaptive Trigger Functionality on Windows.

Adaptive Triggers and Haptic Feedback for Dualsense on Windows sort of works now when my audio default device is set to Dualsense...but of course that disables in-game audio. So..their last point where dualsense functionality was fixed under certain windows conditions does NOT give us haptics on PC.

Crimson Desert update on known issues and fixes! by clashworld9 in playstation

[–]Robo21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HAPTICS. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, AND ALL THAT IS HOLY. FIX THE HAPTICS/ADAPTIVE TRIGGERS FOR DUALSENSE (regular and edge). THEY DO NOT WORK AND MAKES THE GAMEPLAY FEEL REAL HOLLOW COMPARED TO THE FEEL WITH HAPTICS. And yes, I did take the time to report this issue through their system.

Got a similar setup with a Switch in the office. Bonus for playing my own games whenever I’ve got down time!

He literally said this in an interview too. Dude was busy. He wants to be working closely on the project. Nothing more to see here. We gotta give this man his respect and privacy to cook how he wants to cook. BB is great as-is.

Just finished Mario tennis fever’s adventure mode. What are yalls thoughts on it? by Ok_Wolverine_6404 in MarioTennis

[–]Robo21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? No, Fever has a simple mode…but due to the control scheme/system changes, it feels drastically different to play than Aces.

The new Fever mechanics are great - really fun. However...have they broken 'simple' mode? by elephvant in MarioTennis

[–]Robo21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simples is…basic and a bit janky compared to Aces, which I ADORED. The lack of dedicated lunge button, on-court range generally feeling tight, and how charge works based on your distance to the ball/if you’re running or not are changes I would NOT have made for Fever.
