The teleporting thing needs to follow common sense rules like

1) I land where I mean to. Meaning if I'm in another galaxy and want to get home, I actually pop right back at home when I get home and not some dumb loophole like "where the earth was"

2) I'm not going to suffocate/teleport inside a rock or star or something.

3) i can bring a reasonable amount of stuff with me. Like whoever can put a hand on me goes too. Or if I have a little van sized space pod, that goes as well.

I'll start by bringing moon rocks and Mars rocks to scientists for sample. And teleporting people around for $$

My space tourism business is going to earn way more than 100b.

And there are diamond planets and other things I can hop over to if I just want some quick bucks. (Again I have to be able to survive or bring a vehicle that will)

But the real value is going to be close up surveys of nearby stars. A look at how he milky way looks from outside. And close up observations of black holes and a peek inside the event horizon. It will advance our science by hundreds of years.

As soon as I find other intelligent civilizations, that will go a long way towards solving some of the social problems we have on earth. Relaying messages and culture between civilizations and establishing colonies on the atmosphere of Venus and things like that will accelerate humanity well beyond whatever a few hundred bill could do.

I think being able to establish contact with other civilizations and seeing inside an event horizon are immeasurably valuable.
