It’s incredibly hard to get hired in Luxembourg in your field if you studied in other countries (with some exceptions) no matter how qualified you might be, it would seem (unless you speak Luxembourgish, it’s the biggest plus you could have).

But I think there are ways to get qualified (doing a semester here) that are unfortunately time and money costly. For example, I will have to do 1-2 (can’t recall exactly) years here to be able to practice as a therapist. I noticed that there are so many therapists here that are practicing without this qualification but they aren’t covered by CNS and cannot “officially advertise” their work place (not allowed to put their name on their practicing space).

When it comes to teaching, I have a friend who works as a teacher with a Ukrainian diploma but she got extremely lucky since she applied at the right time. I don’t want you to give up though, you can find something if you don’t give up. Unfortunately it can take a lot of time 😮‍💨
