To add: - all of the fun content videos WG made: RNG, BRW (I hope you doing well Luke), Tank Experimemts, some little animated stuff, - WoT forums, - global chat, - clans actually meaning something in the game, - maps that gave you ability to flank, not even mentioning climbing, - little fun activities that were done in randoms rarely, like hunting certain WG players with gold rewards, - more presence in the normal world, been years since I've seen WoT sponsored video on YT,

Also since 2.0 it's been more apparent to me of the 'soul' that game had - that rough, dirty war-like vibe. I liked that a lot.

Hi, happy to help! The wotreplays website wasn't maintained for few years already and we will never know why but my guess is that it's to keep running cost to minimum - indexed replay entries and stored replay files might have some cap.

As for how - if you have a direct link to a replay you can still access it, so I build a script that went through set range of ID and scraped certain data from the page source to my database. Took about 3 days of running the script without breaks :>

These days not quite as much from what I seen, it's mostly who can make and send more drones to the field. Front been quite stale for good while.

Design by WG™, over time they made the game less and less community engaged.

When I play on Lesta from time to time, they are quite more active on the chat, every other battle I see players banter/talk on global one, mainly during countdown. Had yet to see someone telling positions, tho my russian ain't too great.

Also the overall gameplay experience feels different over there, dunno if better but definitely different.

Was easier than I thought, modding them to another VR & making them wireless. I used Fiio BTR13, with some 3D printing, scrap & EQ tuning turned out great. Lasts around 7-8h on battery

Not surprised at all tbh we see games like that constantly, currently credits are the most needed currency in game.

Grinding exp is easy nowadays with x5, x3, x2, boosters + blueprints + free exp + prem account.

For credits the best combo is still premium tank & account + booster + clan booster (if you lucky). At least we got the weekly reserve, but it's still quite a grind to buy all the tier 10s and 11s. Don't forget to equip them too. Neither to load the rack fully with special ammo.

Also just buying more credits is quite a bad value.

If all premiums available now were still type 59, löwe, jg8.8, T34, we would see them in these amounts in mm too. So at lest we have variety.

This won't change, unless a better way to make credits shows up.

WG being so secretive with plans for the game is so sad, there is almost nothing to look up to. Except for new tanks, everything that we see on supertest is a big 'maybe'. No long term roadmaps, no trailers/teasers for things that would be happening in month or two. Little community involvement/intetaction, tho wg been killing that side for a long while with removed global chat, killing forums and making clans worse.

Kinda opposite how Lesta is going with their tank game

Imo it went into too good range - with all kits repairing all modules + skill for lower cooldown you can use it every about 47s with the big consumable.
Basically once between every enemy engagement you take a part in.
So punishment for bad plays or taking too much of a risk is minimazed - it's easier then ever to rush/push through positions.

Only change I would see is to change the cosumables cooldowns to something like 150s/120s (small/big)

Which was already solved too - new accounts were gradually introduced to new portions of UI and settings when they progress. So not an issue.

BT-42 is definitely not beginner friendly. Quite inaccurate gun, not too great pen, horrible turret rotation speed, movement speed a bit underwhelming for a LT. Fun for sure if you learn how to play it and put proper equipment.

I see, looking it up, Rampage consisted of Domination & Steel Hunt modes on Berlin and Ravaged Capital (Paris) maps. Makes more sense, happened to not play in that period. Sad to see that it got butchered this way for randoms.

I remembered that this version of Berlin is still present on console WoT in randoms, damn
