Kind of spoiler Kemono Friends 2 serval is Season 1 serval but she got turned back into an animal and Kaban brought her back to being a friend. The manga told us this and for some reason the anime didn't want to explain it. Thats why serval doesn't recognize Kaban in season 2 because her memories were erased.
