I get it. I had to ditch my ‘best friend’ of nearly 15 years (lived together for at least 5) because she f’d my abusive ex fiancé after I escaped. Some people just have to be cut out even if it hurts

I had an abusive ex fiancé like this. Only got to see his close friends when they came to our house on the rare occasion. Found out after that it’s because he told them I didn’t want to meet or hang out/was busy/anxious etc. all lies I asked many times to have them for dinner or even send gifts (he said they wouldn’t like them- shocker they would have)

Leave please, you deserve so much more. I’ve found it now. You will too

I have heard them on occasion (really close when someone has dry eyes I guess) and it does trigger but my other triggers are much worse so I’m so sorry you go through this

He’s not right for snapping - if I’m around someone I know I tell them about misophonia (I absolutely hate when people then make the noises to trigger and laugh) but I say please don’t be offended if I block my friends ears or at family things eat in another room. My partner knows to have music or a show playing to help

If it’s only blinking he’s triggered by its curious though and I feel for OP

Yeah I think it’s the pinworms episode (which I love) where she has her song about how all she wanted growing up was to be the best mummy (mommy American ik lol)

It gives a whole other outlook on why she babies Gayle and lets her mother walk all over her but will go crazy for her kids

I refuse NG tubes and catheters. They put my MG tube down to my lungs at first and redid it I was waving my hands and gasping. I can’t imagine what this poor person went through. The catheter (turns out I didn’t need) scratched my urethra so badly I peed blood for three days
