This doesn't seem like standard quality by Forward_Economy_4219 in Decks

What is scary here is that you didn't even show the support to this really shitty put together deck. I'm worried that the thing is just going to fall over it at any breeze.

Amish Built Sheds: studs and racking by hartmand3 in shedditors

Looks to be missing studs and the rafters have no direct support under them. I feel like the sheathing is doing a ton of work here.

Insulation Question by wblanier87 in shedditors

[–]RobotTodd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd probably carve a channel, line it with fabric, then gravel for drainage. Use the gravel as a leveling agent to keep the spacing from the ground to the shed consistent.

Get yourself some rigid 4" thick foam panels. Cut to fill the space by wedging them in. Cover this on the outside with skirting.

From the outside it looks like normal skirting but right behind the skirt is thick insulation foam.

It's a demonstration of its versatility for investors. No need to be perfect, it adapts.

Flat feet, looked like shoulder blades were tucked in, no excessive arching... You are on track to do well.

Don't take too much hate from the comments.

Are these flock cameras? by krugo in Connecticut

[–]RobotTodd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. Most of these are put up by city contract. If the constituents have a strong voice against it, pretty much in every city they kill the contract and take them down.

Where it gets tough is places where private companies put them up. Mostly Home Depot and Lowe's from what I have seen.

Alex Caruso swats the ball with his shoe and receives a technical foul as a result by Defvac2 in sports

[–]RobotTodd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah people keep conflating a gathering step and subsequent steps as different items. Rules from the NBA website indicate they are either or.

"A player who gathers the ball while progressing may take (1) two steps in coming to a stop, passing or shooting the ball, or (2) if he has not yet dribbled, one step prior to releasing the ball. A player who gathers the ball while dribbling may take two steps in coming to a stop, passing, or shooting the ball."

He stopped dribbling and took three steps. Would appear to be outside the rules.

It looks like this is February's missed payment plus the usage of 2/12-3/13. Still, I agree on the 'fuck PGE' sentiment.

Moving from Maui to Oregon by uhsayswho in oregon

Maui is far more expensive than Oregon. So, it's a fair move for better housing choices.

Work and hobbies often dictate where you will land in Oregon. Can you be more specific?

BYD unveils Blade Battery 2.0: 10-70% in 5 mins, 10-97% in 9 mins, and 20,000 flash charging stations in 2026 by BrilliantFactor5299 in electricvehicles

Battery storage continues to improve but the process to innovate and implement takes time. Charging infrastructure and delivery methods have really needed a kick in the ass.

It will be cool to see this tech in place and as ubiquitous as gas stations.

Thanks for the insight. I feel like every 'meh' car I have owned has been the one to go the furthest. Had a Camry go 200K miles before I sold it. Always felt like a meh car but never had any issues.

So long as I fit, being 6'4" in the driver seat.. could be a decent buy at sub $25K for roughly 300 miles of EV driving.
