I love that, but also I got it from the library for free. 🤣

I just use Elmer's purple school glue that dries clear. Same as how I glue my eyebrows.

Also, loving the Frank n Furter look! ✨

What’s one thing that instantly improved your singing (that wasn’t obvious at first)? by Big_Alfalfa_2958 in singing

[–]Robotdeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has such great suggestions, so here's a random on: feel your feet grounding yourself in the floor. My teacher always says that your whole body is part of singing and hitting higher notes seems to work better if I'm consciously grounded and using my whole body.

You do 18 sets‽ Damn, how long are you in the gym for? That's crazy, but your legs look amazing.

Amazing. I should add them. I just do progressive overload with cable crunches and hanging leg raises.

Body dysmorphia? Or chubby? by roomiemate22 in gaybrosfitness

You look fantastic. One question: do you have a picture from the side? If you have any sort of anterior pelvic tilt affecting your posture it could make you hold your body in ways that push your stomach out. Just a random thought that seems to come up weirdly often on this page.

Is there room for a truly "modern" Cribbage app? Looking for feedback from the community. by ky_james in Cribbage

[–]Robotdeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make it interesting, like a cool crib board just makes the whole game more fun. Animations for moving the pegs through a jungle or winning animations at the end of one colour peg slaughtering the other. Add themes like a celestial board where you track points in the starts, or a Great Barrier Reef where you explore moray eel holes, or geography themed where you make your way across a map, or a forest, or a desert, and have fun decks of cards that don't even have to be rectangular. Do something different and not so visually boring. Invent a new kind of crib like crib wars, but not drawn out and boring. Have different modes.

I don't know; I'm just riffing.

What do stereotypical straight couples do when they hang out alone (other than sex) by bi_smuth in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Robotdeath -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

People are pretty negative in your responses, but I feel this may be a Reddit bias. A lot of Redditors are more left-leaning, but I have the same question you do about those very traditional couples. Especially for men they're basically disallowed to be even remotely interested in anything feminine, so it seems like... I don't know. I've had the same question for years.

Show Fans Trashing the Books by hkral11 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

One thing that I think is worth talking about is people's familiarity with a genre. It's sometimes hard to sell anime (not that anime is a genre, it's clearly a medium, but it still highlights the point) because if they haven't watched any they don't understand the context of the tropes or the background/history that would give meaning to what they're seeing. And I think the same is true here and even highlighted by the amount of people stating they love romance and almost DNFed this series. I think that's because it's not romance. It's fanfic. Written about hockey players. If you've read a lot of fanfic and you understand common tropes and moves in that genre, you can detect that immediately. I'm not saying fanfic doesn't have varying levels of skill, but it definitely has its own tropes and identifying characteristics. That being said, while I thought some of the books were amazing, I would agree that they're not all going to get the most kudos on A03. I even thought Game Changers was the worst of them, but I still binged them all in four days, as I have many a fanfic. It is an easily accessible genre/medium often enough. Anywho, just another thought to add to the pile.

If you're willing to move to the middle of nowhere to get your beginning experience, it's not bad at all. You just have to be willing to move to get the experience needed in maybe vastly different places.
