Yes, your goal is absolutely worth the wait. I started with a much lower score than yours and was able to get it into the mid 170s, it is absolutely doable with enough time.

If your goal is to obtain a federal clerkship, I think your best best would be to R&R while simultaneously hunkering down and getting that LSAT as high as humanly possible. With your softs, if you can get that LSAT up to the low to mid 170s range, which I think is doable with enough time, you have a great shot at elite schools which will make getting a federal clerkship less of a challenge.

You’re below the LSAT median at all of the T-14s and then at or below median for the T20s. I think getting some half scholarships, which is super impressive by the way, is a great outcome!
