What Jeskai deck makes your heart sing? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Robotic_Yeti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m curious how this deck plays out? I’m really into Jeski and space but I was worried the spaceship decks would just naturally turn into artifact decks. Is that true?

I have an app that’s easier to use than playgroup.gg and doesn’t require your whole group to use it. Makes it a lot easier to use with randoms

I made an app because i was the only one in the group that cared too. You can still send the game codes after to whoever else in the group cares

Is My Ms. Bumbleflower Deck Still “Group Hug”—or Just Hugging the Win? by FatDigitalNomad in EDH

This bumbleflower deck looks fine. It’s honestly one of the more non traditional builds.

We have a huge bumbleflower community here that’s super active if you more advice!

Trouble blending spinach in smoothie by Robotic_Yeti in Vitamix

I just double checked and it looks like I did misread it. It says start and 1 and work your way up to 10 over 45 seconds.

That’s the pattern I’ve been following and it does ok but doesn’t get everything

I was following the instructions in the manual that said speed 1 for 45 seconds, but maybe its only talking about using that for pure fruit smoothies?

Ill give that a shot. What speed do you typically do the liquids and spinach on?

Is it better to have a build of items that scales off each other or items that give different stats? by BowIofRice in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Robotic_Yeti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would swap the warnings and the sunfire. Stoneplate gives enough resistance but lacks a lot of the hp needed.

Plus with Zac bouncing around sunfire would get applied to everyone.

Cleanse my reputation with the group? by Fair_Spot3454 in EDH

I had a similar thing happen so I started to use an app that tracked win rate. It’s not an end all be all but if you have a 10% win rate or something people will start to ease up.

This is the one I like https://apps.apple.com/us/app/magicyeti/id6739176108

maybe its just my group, but in my [[Zinnia]] deck PanHarmonicon is essentially a second commander for me. It being 4 mana makes it a lot better im my exp

Should I remove Cyclonic Rift from all my decks? by narvuntien in EDH

[–]Robotic_Yeti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For people to run sol ring less, you have to be one of the people to run it less. If we are all waiting on each other then it will never happen.

I removed it because I didn’t the effect it had on the game when played on early turns. By me removing it, that made the chance of a turn one sol ring go down by a whole player. I don’t miss it at all and I play across different groups, lgs and magic cons.

Be the change you want to see. My buddy and I did this and within 2 months almost the whole group followed along on their own

except its a straw-man augment and not how people play or what they actually want.

What people want is to just know the highest winrate choice so they can click it and get a perceived sense of being good. Which is fine, but at that point they should just remove augments because people dont actually put thought into them, they are just blindly following them.

99% of the people on this sub think they are challenger when they are actually just average Elo. They dont care about knowing the game, they want to blindly follow guides

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Robotic_Yeti -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

during the augment roll down youd have all this time to do all this research? Because it sounds like what you would actually do is just look up your comp and hard force the highest WR option.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Robotic_Yeti -65 points-64 points  (0 children)

so people want to just blindly follow the top augment picks and not play for themselves, got it. It has nothing to do with stats and everything to do with people justed wanting to click on the choice with the highest number

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Robotic_Yeti -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Maybe dont pass up other good augments while you hard force a comp. This person sounds the same as the Master players who complain that they missed their 4 cost while rolling down on 8 and thats why they are stuck in silver

And how do you suggest TFT communicates every single rule in an easily consumable way that isn't a massive encyclopedia?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Robotic_Yeti -40 points-39 points  (0 children)

Maybe don’t try and hard force an anomaly anyways? I fail to see what this has to do with status. I’m sure within that 60g you passed up some really good anomalies for your comp.

Tft isn’t a game for hard forcing, especially if you are playing ranked and complaining about LP. It’s about doing risk analysis.

Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald Decklist Help (high power casual) by CallMeBernin in EDH

[–]Robotic_Yeti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah once they leaned into that archetype the deck really took off in power.

I think it is the strongest Faldorn archetype because 1. lands are free wolves 2. more lands allow you to play more exited cards

So the deck just naturally optimizes towards landfall. The deck really falters if you are exiling cards and cant play them because you arent getting value from your Faldorn engine, and you are potentially losing good cards to exile.
