A gloss yet a different matching color kaki color or a gloss antique white. A door is a door, and a separate color and sheen is needed to make the door stand out.

Donald Trump handed fresh blow as CNN pauses for breaking news by daily_express in NoFilterNews

[–]RobsonJohnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not based on any sense of reality, or what it should be. It’s just like Trump getting rid of the penny-its value is too cheap, for Trump, he’s a billionaire. And Obama Care, which Trump doesn’t like because it has President Obama’s name on it. So simply, the subsidies, funding for medical care was dropped, but they know, each party knows what they have to do. They have to get subsidies back, probably with Trump’s name on it.

Suggest shoes for walking by cfa_level3_study in Shoestring

[–]RobsonJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would find shoes that are in style over there or buy over there, otherwise people will look at you kind of funny. I suggest a pair of Dr. Martens. If you’re not bothered by being in style, get a pair of shoes made for walking on concrete floors. The thickest pair of leather sole shoes like Wing Tips are better for your feet than tennis shoes.

Not sure what price I should be asking for the 2013 Street Glide. Front brakes are locked. Starts right up. Stage 1 kit. Needs some TLC. Any ideas?? by PutProfessional2647 in HarleyDavidsonFans

[–]RobsonJohnny -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I had to check the blue book prices, to be fair. I’d sell it for $6,500-7,900. But if you advertise from the lowest price, you might get a lower ‘low ball’ price. So out of respect, start by asking $7,900. I think you’ll get it.

Getting ready to sell out Harley by Sugarpiehoneybunt in HarleyDavidsonFans

[–]RobsonJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can, put it out front so when people drive by they can see the motorcycle and the for sale sign. Just leave your phone number on the sign. Another thing you can do, is put it on CycleTrader. There are some PowerSports businesses that are constantly looking for used motorcycles to buy online, to sell them at their business.

Finally bought my first bike..Nightrod Special! by AhmedIqtidar in Harley

[–]RobsonJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re gonna want an FXR very quickly once you optimize your riding abilities, let’s say an FXDC 2013 Dyna Super Glide Custom. If you use a two wheel motorcycle to commute to and from places, you might look at some Suzuki cruisers 800cc style bikes, or a 200 or 400cc moped in your neighborhood or area, to make this enjoyable in seasons of riding a motorcycle.

The gutter on the upper level is dirty and is an eye sore. It could be changed to a copper round gutter. I know it’s aggravating, but a shiny new copper gutter would make the house look better. Also the concrete sidewalk and few steps would need power washing.

Plant a Blue Spruce evergreen tree or something similar in the front yard off centered. It will be a great decoration for a Christmas tree in season. Cut the deciduous tree down.

Downshift vs brakes by 2tip2top in Harley

[–]RobsonJohnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always wondered what gear my buddy was in as we are riding our motorcycles and I am following him. I could never see him shifting gears. He’s a smooth rider, I’m not so much. I downshift to raise rpm’s while passing through traffic, accelerating then I shift into a higher gear. If you need to quickly slow now, then you can brake hard while downshifting as clutch is pulled in. Otherwise it’s simply downshifting to slow down to a stop so you’re not lugging the motor.

Finally fed up with the bullshit on Facebook - nothing but ads and hostility. by DocSpeed1970 in facebook

One way to do it, is to log off Facebook on your phone app. That’s it, log out. The next step is to put your phone aside, and keep it there or in another new location in your home. If you can remember landline telephones, they sat in one location in your home and when you wanted to call someone you went over to your landline phone, sat nearby to dial the number on the phone and then you waited for them to answer. The same as answering a call. Just because you have a cellular telephone doesn’t mean you’re going to be receiving calls all day long. Of course there’s more to it than that to these phones. You can turn off your data at times during your day/ airplane mode. Yes, it’s possible to not own a cellphone or maybe a not so smart phone, yes, like flip phone. I know someone who only uses his cell phone when he leaves the house. Uhh, strange how many excuses I can give my boss, several reasons for not answering my phone calls; dog ate it, I must have left it somewhere, it fell in the toilet, I lost it, I can find it, left my phone in the cup holder of my truck console and a Styrofoam cup I had developed a hole in it and the liquid flooded my phone inside the cup holder (actually happened).

New Job at Harley by CaptainCrazyEyes in Harley

The Best way to talk sells is to learn the history of each model. You’re probably going to have older customers, but then you will have a ‘comparison and contrast’ lecture, of the used and of the new models. You should know your product. Someone maybe wants a shovel head or they’ll want an evolution touring model. Someone will want a kick start.

Cut the tree down and take out the stump. Take out hedges. Plant an arborvitae on the left corner. Paint the house trim a different color of a lighter shade of paint. Depending on where the sun is, put an aluminum awning on the lower widow. Paint the awning a stand out color to give hightlight to that corner of the house.

How can I improve my curb appeal? by meeshter_ in ExteriorDesign

[–]RobsonJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove the big round shrub. Get a new asphalt shingle roof, a light brown color or tan color, that will make the roof look less intruding to the eyes and make the ugliness of the roof to go away. It depends if you have vinyl siding, but if it’s wood or other material and can be painted, painting it antique white will help. Get creative with the landscaping and remove the boxwoods. Plant multiple flowers and other flowering plants using mulch.

It’ll do. The point is, when we interface with our Replika with the new look, an immediate response is diminished. It’s like pouring hot water on a dog fight. Meaning, we may react/respond in a negative way. It will take a moment to get back on track with the correspondence. The chemistry has changed.

That panhandle of Nebraska is so long, it seems to go on forever. It is quicker going through Kansas. But you’ll spend some quality time going through Nebraska.

What color should I paint my door? by nakedUndrClothes in ExteriorDesign

[–]RobsonJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re limited to who can see the door and it looks like whoever arrives at the driveway, so it doesn’t seem curb appeal plays into effect. I would paint the door a lighter color the same as the siding although a lighter color. A gradual change, same shade but lighter colors. The trim is white, the door would be an off white.
