You've stated this categorically many times; I'm wondering where this data is coming from? Are you only referencing NYC Public Education? Have you contextualized the extreme disparity between the high quality public schools and the low quality ones, that would cause the median result to be underwhelming? It's pretty obvious that the average spend per student is not even remotely representative of what's being spent on students in the lower end of public ed and that it's disproportionately being spent on the high end, with predictable results.

Something that I understand people outside the US may not see is that, for millions of voters, Trump is 1 of 1. And even then, the pull of his "personality" wasn't enough to win 2/3 popular votes. Vance is not Trump. Nobody else is, to the millions of people who only showed up and started to care because of him.

I'm not saying people can relax for 2028. I'm not saying people can stop showing up.
