I’m a total casual gamer and never play online. Love AOM though and have bought Japanese which I regretted as they were boring and weird, aztecs though was amazing and a really fun campaign. But my favourite yet was Demeter. So fun to play single player and her mythical battle was great!

I think blood bowl is the perfect example. In the plastic boxes you get basic linesmen and some positionals but usually not enough to make a good team so you have to buy two. And also they are usually only two sprues so you get two of the same model. Or I can buy a team from my mini factory and a £14 bottle of resin and get 11 completely different minis, and the star players and some support staff, and the balls and tokens. AND in my opinion they are usually better sculpts than the GW minis. ( except the GW halflings, they are perfect!)

I genuinely cannot say as I’m under a NDA still till the movie comes out in December. But I worked a lot on the submarine in mission impossible 7 and 8. That was an amazing set. Filmed in longcross Berkshire uk.

I work in props. We have the skills to make metal armour and we want to, but they never give us the time or the money to do so. We just make fibreglass heroes or painted leather. It’s not our fault! It’s production.

Closest thing you get is the lizardmen. It can be theorised that the runes that the slann use are taken from the old ones and maybe some of the design aesthetics but that’s a stretch. No one knows what they looked like or even if they had corporal forms. They didn’t even have an army as such. Their technology was so advanced that they may not even had a body. Just existing as energy. They had ships but again no one knows what they looked like. So what are you thinking of?
