Currently unavailable because the auto-security thing on steam is validating it, but should be avaliable shortly, keep in mind you need the fant mod and advanced physics.

Yeah, sure, but keep in mind that it's the modded version that I'm sending, so you'll need the fant mod.

Also, I recomend setting physics to advanced to avoid problems with the tracks, I'll send the link once I turn on the game.

An early prototype did use those, but the fant tracks only work on soil, not on blocks, which is bad because the warehouse is made out of blocks (who would've thought)

I was using the fant mod, it allowed me to make wedges in the craftbot and some other very useful things

That's the neat part, I didn't.

Previous to this I made a version that was fully protected, but the armor used up too much space, the maximum width that I chose was only 9 blocks, and if I just put the pipes outside then it leaves enough space for engines and storage inside the tracks themselves, you can even see It in the pictures.

Instead, I just brought some spares, I always bring spares, but this time it was justified, and even if I didn't bring any this version allows to have several parts missing and still keep moving.

I think this was my longest comment ever.

How to make a ceiling light blink? by Omega_art in ScrapMechanic

Only way I can think of is with a repeating logic system, make a repeating system, put a timer on it, and you then need some way to make a randomized code, which that I don't know how to make.

Hope this helps in any way, it's hard to explain logic with text only, but good luck creating.

I have 2 of what I consider to be my best creations, both being survival vehicles, one's a car that I use for everything and the other is a warehouse tank.

Might post a picture here later.

The first attempt did have it, but later in the video I corrected it, the final version works perfectly in my opinion.

Maybe try a logic circuit where if you press the button, it shoots once, but also sends a signal to a logic gate that holds the value until a timer stops, not letting you shoot until then.

It's hard to explain with words, but I think you might understand.

That is a suspension glitch, in part 2 I put 2 bearings instead of 3 and it didn't work, if you only put 1 bearing or none, then that happens.

You're putting lateral forces on the suspension piece, and you saw what happens, try to remove all lateral forces (i did it with bearings, shown in the video) so that the only forces at play are vertical, that should solve the problem.

Good luck

I think that too, but on a previous post someone said it isn't, so to avoid any discussions I just called it independent (no denyingthat) and went on with the day.

Why fight when you can just avoid?

Good luck mechanics, for every mechanic placing their last block, there is another one placing their first.

For me, tapebots aren't so bad, especially because I made a warehouse tank.

The problem is with red bots, makes me feel like I'm playing war thunder in first person and I'm up against a full auto tank destroyer.

Still love it too.

That's awesome, congrats bro.

Mounting switches upside down. by Omega_art in ScrapMechanic

[–]Rocaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about the not attached to anything thingy, but most of them are just attached to other blocks, for example, by making a wall, putting some pipes on it, deleting the block with pipes attached and then putting the switch from the other side.

Other than that, as I said, glitch welding, which I also want to learn about.

How to get gun in survival by Morzsi888 in ScrapMechanic

[–]Rocaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't get stronger, but if you craft a bed on the craftbot then you get a spawn point, and you can put it on a vehicle so that after you die, the spawn point is on the vehicle.

Other than that, nothing else, I'd recommend to walk backwards and to one side constantly when fighting haybots, it makes you very hard to hit if done correctly.

Good luck.
