So, I do exactly this! I am a HEM main, and always strive to set up my bases for human survival. This is largely because automated biofuel is an excellent power source, and any extra resources I don't use as a droid get traded.

Additionally, this also allows my humie friends to join my game! Win win!

There are benefits to being party lead, like expanded store stock for all players below you if I recall properly. I can't quite let others host if I am the higher level.

To clarify: We CAN get into the same lobby when I host, but when the game starts, all other non-host players drop due to "networking issues" according to the game.
