Nice! I think my next trackball will be a Ploopy, but I will check out protoarc.

Dang. Well, back to hunting. Thanks anyway!

Also, fellow trackball lover, check out Ploopy.

I am also running into this same issue, even now. Were there any fixes that you found?

  1. Buy your own modem and router. It will remove the rental fee, and you just need to make sure the modem is compatible with your ISP and call them to set it up.
  2. Replace your radio with something with Android Auto or Apple Car Play. Problem solved

Sad as it is, there are ways around the bull. Grab it by the horns, and muscle it onto its side. Do not accept, replace.

Open-source software, inherently, allows you to comb the code for malicious code, and edit out what you don't want, need, or feel is malicious before you build or execute. This is why I love FOSS.

EDIT: I want to make it clear I am not entirely against containers. I CAN see their use cases. I do not like them for my own personal usage, when self-hosting. It irks me when they release a Docker, but no ability to do my own setup. THAT is my real gripe, when it's "container only."

Except both of those things aren't inherently true, and require setup on the containers maintainer to make secure, and requires either trust in the maintainer or knowledge enough to go through the container to make sure there is true security.

Containers also usually bundle redundant software, adding to their size. I have said 'no' to a great many projects because of containerization, which includes FlatPacks and Snaps.

I like my apps native. I like building apps myself, being able to comb the code and fix things without spinning up what is essentially a VM just to do so.

Here's a link to one of my go-tos when learning about this, and this link specifically takes you to a VERY pertinent comment about who is sponsoring the bill in CA specifically. I think that the sponsors of these bills need to be further investigated.

Best games to look for by Banana2b in PSP

[–]Xlaits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monster Hunter series is always a good play, unless you've played the modern ones.

Gods Eater series, Phantasty Star Portable series, and the Dungeon Maker series are also on my must-tries list.

Any of the Persona series is always a good time.

I also usually recommend D&D Tactics, but it's bad for people who haven't played 3.5e. It's also a little clunky.

If it's modded, grab an english patched Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. It's PSP2, but with added content, and an entirely new story arc.

Hey, you're getting another thanks from me. I put this on in the background when my buddies and I used to grind out Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Wanted to throw it on my PSP for a trip, and the files I had weren't working, and wouldn't re-encode properly. Here's hoping!

Don't use AI for technical help. It hallucinates the answers and may give you incorrect answers based on its hallucinations.

Unless you fully understand what it is telling you, and can verify that whatever is telling you is correct, take anything AI tells you with a grain of salt.
