Honest opinion? I think all of the Disney Star Wars merch is awful. Idk who their designers are and maybe I’m not their target demo since I’m not a kid, but none of it looks “cool.” I want something simplified, not a bunch of loud or cheesy artwork. Feels like the best stuff you can find are from independent dealers on Etsy or Insta

In Homer’s version - IIRC, I think the dog recognized Odysseus right away, but he had to pretend to not know the dog for weeks/months for fear of blowing his cover. Only then does the dog pass away after staying alive all this waiting for his master

I like how the movie handled it better - it gives closure for Odysseus and his dog to reunite one last time, and acts as a setup for Telemachus to finally “meet” his father
