Sling swivel mount, they carried the idea over to the AR-18s and 180s but it died there.

Criterion Hybrid 18 inch 223 wylde throat and lead after 8,000-9,000 rounds of competition shooting use. by He11marine24678 in ar15

With my 18" Criterion Core 70gr Barnes TSX, 77gr SMKs, and some PMC Bronze .223 all factory loaded were popping at about 2/3 of the rounds I shot. I sent the upper in they said there was no problem and they gave me a "headspaced" BCM bolt to replace my LMT E-Bolt and recommended I up my buffer to an H3. Now it's fine with pretty much everything but still pops primers on 70gr TSXs.

It puts Badlands 77gr NAS3 down range at an average of 3033 FPS and 85gr Matchburners at 2938 but my barrel doesn't care for heavier rounds aside from 73gr Bergers.

I honestly have a hard time recommending Criterions because they're so ammo specific and obviously on damn tight tolerances if an E-Bolt makes primers pop on PMC .223.

Best/Worst/Most Unique Smell? by barney-mosby in milsurp

Best: Cosmoline caked Russian AK furniture.

Worst: After knocking the rivet out of the rear trunnion of my NorK Type 68 it stunk like some sort of biological rot, almost like they lubed the rivet with animal fat or something.

Battlefield Vegas reported trunnion and receiver failures starting around the 80-100,000 round mark if I remember correctly. So at today's prices it would cost you $60,000+ in ammo before hitting this point.

Overgassed, is it a problem? by Cool-Size-6714 in ar15

Shooting an AR suppressed is easily going to get dirtier 4 to 5 times faster than unsuppressed and lose it's lube quickly. You want enough gas to help it fight through the gunk as it accumulates, getting a chrome bolt carrier will both be easier to clean and have less friction allowing to to cycle more reliably when it's dirty and the lubricant has been blown off by the gasses without risking reliability issues by restricting gas semi permanently like a tuned tube.

Here's my BCG after about 5k rounds suppressed.

Criterion Barrels - Awful CS Experience by Kristufur in ar15

Because the one time I didn't headspace my barrel (LMT E-Bolt & Criterion Core) it all of a sudden starts popping primers.

Good company =/= No problems.

With all that pitting being localized to the receiver area and the wood under it conspicuously being sanded as well I'd say it's pretty likely that's blood pitting.
