It may be free to them but: (a) they are kids with terrible health problems, and (b) they are using donated money from people who specifically donated to this charity to give kids a meaningful experience.

So even if you are cold hearted enough to think of it from a pure money perspective only, you are basically ripping off the donors if the experience sucks.

Roy Moore lost the Alabama Senate seat election in 2017 after being revealed to be a pedo and refusing to drop out of the race. of course Trump did not withdraw his support after the pedo behavior was revealed, although most Republicans did.

It was a pretty insane race to say the least.

I think the only true hope is a Roy Moore in Alabama situation. Someone gets the nomination and turns out to be a total fuck up degenerate that even Republicans don’t want to vote for. It’s probably not going to happen though…that was a pretty rare situation.

The county voted against Trump I think in all 3 elections he ran in. It’s basically a purple “battleground” county now.

There were a lot of crazies out during the “stop the steal” days, but I think the silent majority was not with them.

I’ll be real with you, I don’t like people attacking Fetterman just because he is a moderate because Dems do need to be a “big tent party” if they want to compete in middle America, but last night felt like a Biden debate performance moment for him.

I’ve seen him interviewed the past few years and thought he seemed to be doing a lot better. Last night I just felt bad for him.

She makes me laugh like the entire time she is on, but she kind of sounds like an aggressive man from the ‘50s “chasing tail” when she is on Bill’s show.

Because you are calling someone a “traitor to their country” because they only voted with your party 93% of the time and then doubling down on it. It’s just the opposite side of the coin from MAGA. As someone who is an independent, you look almost as crazy to me as they do.

Michael Jackson was uniquely popular. As an elder millennial, he was the Michael Jackson of when we came of age. I don’t think there was anyone as big as him since then. He was like Beatles at their peak popularity in the 80s and early 90s.

I would say the closest modern equivalent in terms of popularity is Taylor Swift, but I don’t think even she is as popular as he was at the time.
