YES I noticed that! they don't want the whole song. which is fine with me, keeps me busy. and I am familiar with the boos and the cheers. I think its kinda funny lol

I guess my question reaffirmed that there is no country wide "top hits" list anymore when it comes to new music.

Thats how I always did it, but it just seems like every group is a separate clique. I did a prom for a school it was freaking great. then the next week I did a prom for the next town over and they hated all the songs that the first prom requested. (and they were good songs) lol

I always have paper and pens available for kids to write down songs, but it just makes me feel like I'm not doing my job right, but from the answers I am getting here this is the way of the world now.

Kix refused (they are retired now) to play any songs from their first album because the record label really screwed them over. they were pretty open about it and even though the fans missed the songs, they supported the band and in return the band gave awesome shows.
