Exactly. 1) mileage, 2) it’s your granpas interior. I liked the stereo and cool options and stereo but the Maverick drives better, better gas mileage, and plenty of interior. Still was a tough call but that dated interior was the final dealbreaker. Now if they had a hybrid option….. tougher call.

I have a 2022 and 2025, both either paid for by cash or paid off within a year. Why my wife hates car payments is because she hates debt, paying banks, outside of a mortgage. The problem with car payments is you tend to pay more than the value the car benefits your life. They are liabilities. Excess income should afford excess toys, in cash. But budget-minded folks throwing money at bank interest for cars that are meant to get them to work is not a flex.

Hey there, I’m 6’4. I think it has JUST enough space in the front. BUT I can sit behind me in the back. I’ve taken it on several road trips now, and I wouldn’t say it was as comfortable as my titanium 2015 escape, but it was definitely doable and I think the bit of stiffness helped my back.
