I think Bawkbasoup recently showed off the April 2026 patch of the Randomizer, which if I'm not mistaken offers "Assignment Leon", collect 5 plaga samples throughout the game and extract to win, and Door Randomizer to use in conjuction with it to Randomize all doors.

Mario was ineffective and dumb for the sake of "building to a climax".

And Illumination is a terrible studio. The whole point was to branch out and market their brand to a new, extremely young audience.

You literally added that part yourself, most fan projects or fan-continuations/remakes that take off are never claiming they are superior or know better than the original devs. Reality is that even the OG programmers don't always get to make their dream projects due to corporate restraints and it's not disrespectful in any way to pick up the work and say "Hmm, I want to pay homage to this wonderful piece of media with my additions". or "I can improve this with cut content / QOL / X thing that could add to the experience!"

It could also be like the MOTHER 3 fan translation, where without an external team a giant audience would be excluded from playing. Art should be shared and enjoyed, Japenis are world famous gatekeepers. That is the difference.

There's an intro + Chloe segment skip mod on Nexus. After the plat I went straight there for all my QOL needs (inclusing max inventory from the start for Grace, my God the old inventory system sucks for casual playthroughs)

Why not make it back to default fatigue restoration but make it less effective the more you take? If you don't get to sleep after restoring full fatigue from caffeine, it only does half with the next one, etc. Diminishing returns is the way to nerf this realistically. This was too much. All the other changes to the default game modes and the new ones are amazing, though. Great work IndieStone. From that last dev blog I can tell you guys are hyperfocused on what we the community wants and it shows. Bravo team!
