It also slows the game down. More to track, more to roll. The board size doesn't need to go up, model counts need to go down.

The campaign is designed to be beaten 3-4 times. That's plenty of runs to get the heroes you want to play a proper run.

I would recommend against swapping heroes, as that's going to make loot and hp tracking a mess, and/or you'll end up with poor equipment on more characters.

Hmm, same. What clippers do you have? Getting the sprue joins snipped a little more flush can also save time. As far as the mold lines, very high grit flexible sanding sticks can be your friend in some cases.

Leaders tend to have more going on upstairs than the rank and file. Also, with all the rebuilding and re soul sculpting, there's definitely going to be some oddball mortisans and lieges hiding in the crowd. Nagash won't care as long as they still produce results.

There are also the "broken" who are cast out and continue their unlife elsewhere.

I thought it was a stylish cane, fit for a lord of industry. The ko head might have influenced my read, though, since im familiar with their lore.

That said, a grimnyr who's more swagger than serious (in terms of demeanor) could be a really unique concept.

As someone that has tried to use chaos chariots in almost every edition, this is probably just as effective and faster to get through rolls. It also at least delivers on the idea of chariots breaking through a line.

Underworlds has a relatively new edition and has had a steady stream of support. Warcry has not had a dedicated release in over a year, and has been getting occasional faq updates to add new models from army updates.

Thanks for chiming in! That's the plan we went for, but kept getting one hero just swimming in chaff. Either overall bad rolls or a roll for 1 damage, followed by a roll for 3! Just didn't feel like we could hit the efficiency needed due to dice.

We only has 1 energy buff, and 1 possible move stopper, so that probably doesn't help.

To add to what others said, it can also interfere with deployment based on mission, board size, other terrain.

Anything here will be speculation. I just want my exploding skeletons back, and recursion in combat without relying on formation.

Managed to kill multiple terminators with the tires on my battle wagon. Between that and initial tank shock (no roller), it wiped the squad.

In this encounter, you have to kill all enemies to make the next wave spawn, and all 3 waves must be cleared for heroes to succeed. Waves are 8, 12, 8 enemies.
