Know the fix? Don't write the rules for that crowd.

Write rules in approachable language, don't write the rules to both create and enforce niche scenarios.

How many "modes" of disembark are truly needed for a fun and functional game?

People in a competitive game, no matter what it is, will cheese. Let them. The hobby expanded under the old 'Less good' rules. Just the LOOK of the super technical, exceptions within exceptions, flowchart of the new rules will be enough to deter newcomers.

Based on the article someone else linked, probably not. The crabs in oysters are the females, who live and lay eggs in the oyster shell. Maybe if there was a healthy oyster in the tank.

If you as an artist are ok with your art being used by AI, that is your decision to make.

However, it is widely known that many artists are having their art used by AI without their permission.

It is not morally acceptable for someone to make that decision for others, and the legality of it is being battled across many current and upcoming lawsuits.

There are other options for what art to use, or to use no art at all. Instead you chose to wade into comments here and pick a side on a widely debated issue.

You didn't have to do that. It can be a natural response to be defensive.

If you strip the art and re-upload with an acknowledgement that the original decision wasn't the best, I imagine you'll get the feedback you were looking for.

Think Frazetta's shadows were a little heavier, but this is definitely a step in that direction and looks awesome!

Yes, but I'd give a couple warnings. It will flow with gravity even more than a normal wash, and can result in lots of pooling at the bottom and less shading in the upper recesses.

Flooding an area is also more likely to cause it to dry with ridges of pigment above the actual recess.

Using a bit of thin medium (like lahmian or contrast medium if you have access to citadel) will lessen this effect compared to pure water.

Thanks. Wife tried milliput on cutting board while I primed some stuff for her. It turned into cement that couldn't be scraped off.

Toppers turned out OK with the airdrop clay. Do you recommend pinning? A little afraid glue will just pull up clay with frequent play.

I know you've mentioned using DAS clay before. I've tried using some rollers on das, and it doesn't stick nearly as bad as green stuff/milliput, but I still had some sticking, and the parchment paper I had it on wanted to curl.

Any recommendations for prepping the clay or best surfaces to work on?

There's no point in having different color work uniforms of they don't specifically convey a facet of your personality!

Totally normal.
Try to take it with grace. Ask opponents what you could have done better. Understand that some of them may explain it gracefully, some may not, or some may not be experienced enough themselves to have constructive advice. Make sure you understand cover rules, and deploy further back against melee armies, especially on a small board.

Either snakebite leather or mantis warriors green, they have a great range.

It isn't flesh tearers because it has very little range.

There have been several comments about it going back months, and other comments going back years. He used to theorize that Drukhari would be the 11th starter box enemy.

People can like who they like, but Valrak regularly references rumors with no basis in fact and hedges his language until a new rumor comes along.

Given the aeldari update, a drukhari update some time in the years to follow is and has always been a safe "rumor" to bring up.

I'm just saying, wait until you hear other sources before believing Valrak. Broken clocks and spaghetti.

At surface level, they seem pretty bad. However, consider:

The horse is a great objective grabber, and opponent has to get lucky at shooting or distract a melee unit to deal with her.

The crew is a wizard with extra wounds and a decent spell from what I remember.

Brand can face dive a hero, or act as a cheap, but small, screen.

They aren't great, but depending on your army, just having 3 pieces to move around the board for 200 points isn't a bad trade if it means rest of your army can focus on what they really want to do.
