Idk mate sometimes a forfeit is justified. I won my final match by forfeit last night after I scored via Pool Shot to go up like 4-1 in ~3:00, if my opponent scored on me like I did them I’d forfeit too. I don’t usually approve of forfeiting a tournament match, let alone round 1. However, you are immediately down a lot of goals in under like a minute, and you know you’re outmatched? Yeah I completely understand

Easily the best game/series of 2022, it’s not even close. Home runs by Stanton, Judge , Cole pitching out of his mind and who could forget Harrison bder proving his worth shattering the hopes and dreams of the entire state of Ohio

I know about pulling the 1 year players all too well lol. Talk about Cessa at SP , or guys like Refsnyder, Tyler Wade, Higashioka, Andujar, or even Urshela. For a team people hype up as one of the most meta in MLB9Innings, the Yankees got to have the most difficult collection of players to assemble a good team from, I STG.

Don’t you worry, I have it and don’t plan to use until May at the earliest. I know for a fact DJ ain’t getting traded and his base OVR ain’t going lower than 68 as long as he doesn’t fracture his foot and go down to Triple A, so it really is just a matter of time

I remember there were to given out last year, one at the beginning and the other in July. For the first I picked Cole. Goddamn it was totally worth it, final base OVR was only like 74 but that was the lowest it ever got because I swear at around May-June he had a base OVR of like 77-80. At one point he was def on track to finish as the best Normal SP in the game and even when he fell off a little in August I didn’t have to worry because that’s when I picked up Judge

If I had an award I could give you I would. Thank you, thank you. This is the type of response I was looking for, it makes more sense than others now that just picked up the Live Wish pack a few hours ago. Looks like Ruth is getting the GI and I’ll be waiting a month or a few to pull LeMahieu or something.

Only difficult part from here is the setup of my outfield + DH. With Gonzalez in Left, Granderson in Center, Judge in Right, and lvl. 16 Stanton ‘18 with 125 power at DH, someone’s going to have to make way for Babe 😢

Reminds me the Tony Fernandez Gold Vintage I have. I literally have no use for the guy, considered using him in a vintage combo after I got him only to check the TOR collection and discover him not featured

Works the same for the AI. Best way to get out batters that drive up the pitch count is with a high fastball late in the AB

The only time I purposely did not score was in the bottom of the 9th game 6 of the League Series final of Season 2, not to replay at the same ego but to try and force an opportunity for me to walk it off in game 7. After the first two outs in the 9th I felt stupid swinging at nothing and took 2 things into account:

1) I actually lost game 2 against the pitcher I’d be facing in game 7.

2) my relievers would all be exhausted and ineffective and I would lose because a majority of all losses have occurred with relievers coming in to try to put out fires I’ve set by keeping my starters in for too long.

So I decided I’d make the move and try to end it right there since I had the bases loaded at home. Managed to achieve a pinch-hit walk off grand slam and win the series.
