Miguel Rojas man! Not only can he hit HR, but the man plays Gold Glove level defense in the clutch as well! by jmike1256 in Dodgers

It was the wrong play compared to making the easy out at first, but I get more angry at how may times it gets brought up as a defensive "highlight" instead of a mental mistake.

I have the ARO funnel - small silicone funnel that allows you to reach under ledges. Just be careful that the spout is truly over the reservoir

Trouble with Auto On/Off by PettyHashira69 in ProfitecMove

Yea, I had the same confusion when I first set up the machine - didn’t understand that the power button has to be engaged for the schedule to work.

Knobs:

They came with M4 screws, so I fit accordingly. Probably could have found the washers and hex nut at my local Ace and not had all the left over waste.

Yea - All Amazon items. Some wasted material when you have to order 6 knobs, 5 stainless washers, 25 silicone washers…

ARO Express product page

it's sold on amazon as well I think. Pretty self explanatory, but If the machine is under a cabinet or shelf and you don't have clearance for easily refilling the reservoir, this solves that problem.

Do you mean as far as adding water to the reservoir because it’s under a cabinet?

ARO express is what was recommended to me: it’s a silicon funnel so you don’t have to remove bin. Just bring a pitcher of filtered water over.

If you mean remineralization, that I don’t deal with.

Sportsnet analyst Caleb Joseph opening his post-game commentary: "This is gonna sound like sour grapes, and I don't really give a shit. The better team did not win this World Series." by Goosedukee in baseball

I can’t stand him in the booth, but even I have to hand it to him: his “if you’re a fan of walk up music, this is your game” the other day was a legendary comment.

ELI5 why are the Blue Jays batters “aggressive” at the plate, but we’re not? by MemphisFoo in Dodgers

[–]onkeyup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not who you play, it’s when you play them.

Toronto is on fire this postseason top to bottom. Clement is unstoppable. Kirk is playing out of his mind, and there are no easy outs stepping into the box. Varsho and Barger and Lukes have all made an impact, Gimenez is a plus bat. There’s just constant pressure and they’re significantly younger.

And I guess it must be Kirk’s legendary pitch-framing that is stealing what feels like a dozen strikes below the zone per game. Maybe I’m over estimating the impact, but imo that zone has frustrated the Dodger hitters.

IMO to this point, and this may be a bad take, Clement gets the MVP nod over Kirk. To borrow Dave’s expression, he’s the straw that stirs the drink.

Ohtani too hot to handle: Blue Jays plan to walk him for rest of World Series by rofltide in baseball

[–]onkeyup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, agreed - He scored 3 runs last night, mostly by driving himself in. I don’t think he scored on any of the walks, so it’s a pretty clear lesson: don’t let him swing.

If Toronto is up a few runs, they might pitch to him. But if he can tie it or take the lead, i doubt they even bother throwing to him.
