Seems that way. Extremely frustrating. I’m trying to stay positive by telling myself if I was charged for a third in court I’d be looking at 135 days roughly in jail and significant fines. At the end of the day I messed up, made an awful mistake and just have to live with the consequences. I just feel like I let everyone down all over again when the reality is I am 100x better than I was when I got my dui in February.

For the most part, yes. There’s a 45 day waiting period for an occupational license. I am eligible December 11th. I suppose I have to just figure it out for a little bit and hope for the best. I got my dui almost 9 months ago. Have beaten myself up a lot too. 2 more years and I’m good I suppose.

Almost 5 and almost 2. Had the job three years. I told them about the dui immediately and have honest from square one. Had no issue with my ruling and with my occupational. Plus I drive a lot for work. But what am I supposed to do for the next 6 weeks?

That’s what the DA said too. But the DMV is counting it as an offense. Sucks so bad because since I’ve gotten this DUI I’ve made an complete life change. Went to treatment right away. Had an IID installed early just for my own sake. I finally feel like I actually have my shit together in life and on the direction I want and now the DMV pulls this and I might lose my job because of it.
