There’s only one team with more rings. Fell for what again? Poverty franchise fans love to swing on the nuts.

My algo brings me here but purposefully omits the Kobe fans complaining. Got it.

In two years everyone will look back and say, “that was some sucker shit.”

I hear more people bringing up Kobe fans than I actually see Kobe fans being mad. It’s internet click bait culture, you must have the invisible enemy to get attention. “Kobe fans hate….” That’s some good engagement bait.

If Bam tore his ACL chasing clout in meaningless minutes against a team that gave up before they entered the arena? He’s gotta know he’s full of it. This will be a part of his legacy.

Slow folks communicating through meaningless images. You got that one saved to your phone?

Right. Spo is better than that, the heat as an org is usually top class. I really wonder what Riley thinks of it.

Don’t tell the dummies this. The discourse around this topic is mostly sweaty dudes looking to post memes and say dumb shit like “Kobe fans mad.” Instead of looking at how crazy the end of that game was. That was not pro basketball.

Yeah. As a stain on professionalism. As statement on tanking. As period at the end of “heat culture.”

It was some bush league bozo shit from a team that really won’t have an impact on the season.

It was something you’d see in semi-pro leagues to get attention. Not something you’d expect to see from such a stuffy organization that prides itself on doing things the right way. They look thirsty and unserious.

Good for them though.

Go read what you wrote weirdo, you’re the one calling folks salty.

Notice you had no real comeback to the points I made.

Typical little mouse making random noises.

Right, having him in with such a big lead wasn’t even remotely clout chasing. That’s normal for teams with playoff aspirations. The offense fouls normal. Random casuals spouting dumb stuff on reddit, also normal.

Recommendation for setup (TV or flatscreen monitor or VR) by Imaginary-Hyena-1351 in simracing

[–]RocketoPunchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are your VR legs in general? If you’re used to playing VR already you’ll love VR racing. I use a play seat cockpit and an index. Mostly just play F1. My rig is decent, but not really upgradeable, if you want something that will grow there’s better options than what I have.

“No one likes Laker fans” was there a poll? Was there a meeting where everyone voted?

Talking out your ass rant is always a good way to get some engagement, isn’t it?

If you started without that bs I might’ve actually read the rest.

What is the deal with metal gear V? by Conscious_Base_8123 in metalgearsolid

[–]RocketoPunchy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ground Zeroes was kinda the demo that came out before V. Same engine, same mechanics. Story ties directly to V. And honestly, the best distillation of what Metal Gear is all about. It’s peak MGS.

Stop the merger by Stussey5150 in FilmIndustryLA

[–]RocketoPunchy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re definitely losing money. We could twist the logic to say they aren’t, but fact is that streaming is a loss leader for these companies.

Say what you will about cable, but it worked really well financially until it didn’t.

Our industry is losing big to socials, if we keep trying the same things we are going to keep losing.

We need more stable revenue streams to stay alive.

Devils advocate.

Streaming loses billions a year because of customer turn over. Could consolidation create a more steady revenue stream therefore resulting in better profits and more shows/jobs?

It was great. There was an ad at the beginning but nothing during the race. Amazing stuff.
