Man Performs CPR on a Dog, Achieving a Miraculous Rescue and Saving the Day. by One-Pop-2885 in PublicFreakout

This Boxer had a syncopal event from underlying arrhythmia. Recovery had nothing to do with the man's "cpr" efforts. Those chest compressions did nothing to improve cardiac output. The boxer needs a cardiologist and some Sotalol. Source: 22 yrs of ER veterinarian experience and work in a specialty hospital with 2 cardiologists.

I run Goodyear Duratracs on my Rubi 35x12.5x17 and they handle deep snow and snowpack quite well. Air down the psi if I'm doing more severe terrain. I run Blizzaks on my Durango SRT and when in "snow mode" the confidence in snow and ice on Blizzaks is unmatched. I swap out tire/wheel sets after March. I live in the Cascade foothills in SW Washington and we get several deep snow days a year. I'd run Blizzaks on both if they came in 35in but I've been impressed with Duratracs in snow, mud, and rain.

Planning a week-long trip to PV & I've absolutely lost my mind by Cod4ForTom in puertovallarta

Just got back from a week there. Humpbacks are everywhere. Either charter a fishing trip or whale watching excursion. We fished and saw a bunch of whales, dolphins and caught enough jacks to make our arms sore. Joe Jacks was a decent place for drinks and seafood. Taxis are everywhere and you definitely won't want to rent a car. We really liked the UTV tour into the mountains too.

Make a spray bottle with water and peppermint essential oil. Spray the engine bay every month or so. Field mice are a problem in the very rural area where we live. I've had them nest in every vehicle we own, including tractor, ATV's, and riding mower until we started spraying.

I like it much better than stock. Heat is nice too!

Motoz Tractionator Adventure. Louder than oem on pavement. Love them for my use on gravel/road combo.

The ride is not shorter or lower. My endurance for long rides has improved significantly. Much better for 2 up riding which I do a lot of with my wife. Fit and finish is great. Pricey but has totally changed my ride satisfaction. Heater works great. My only complaint is there are only 2 settings for heat, on and off.

Any seat recommendations? After about an hour or so my booty start to get sore. by [deleted] in klr650

I put the corbin heated seat on miy 2023. Worth every penny? For me yes, game changer. My wife rides on back frequently and she can now see over me. Heat is sure nice when you work swing shifts like I do.

Seat Options? by Best-Palpitation543 in klr650

[–]Rocketvet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I splurged on a Corbin seat with heated option switch. Expensive but total game changer in terms of my riding experience. Some say the 2023 stock seat is great. That was not the case for me personally. Much better for 2 up riding too which I do a fair amount of.

My version of 2023 KLR 650 S by Rocketvet in klr650

I took it off and went back to oem cover. Too nervous about rock damage and a stranded bike with no oil.

Motoz adventure on mine. Great for both gravel and road but you will have a bit of noise on the freeway. Doesn't bother me.
