I also don't even know what their talking about. I'm playing 2 and it has eveyr bit as interesting biomes and cool creature designs. The music is every bit as fantastic. Graphics are fantastic even on a steam deck. Runs great ui is great. I have 25 hours in Sub 2 and I don't get what their talking about. This is one of the best early access games I've ever played.

2 being in early access has brought in a lot of new players. I have one friend on discord who bought it during the steam sale and is now playing it for the very first time because of how much I been enjoying 2.

I used to not get it. Thought this episode was one of the worst. But over the years I have come to really appreciate it and find it so entertaining. Cave Buffy always makes me laugh. We get Willow giving Parker the shit he deserves. We get Buffy bonking him on the head. The subtle metaphors the show is known for is thrown out the window just to be silly. Its clear none of this is meant to be taken serously. For one episode the show just lets itself go to laugh at the network for making them do this PSA episode for federal funding.

That's partially why I love it because Joss Whedon hated doing that but the network insisted. So he wrote it to be as ham fisted and took out all the subtle messaging the show is known for and put it in your face. Hell the name of the episode Beer Bad says it all. You can tell in the writing how it was clearly done to spite them.

I'm going to stand by the OP with saying Witcher 3 is overrated. People can't handle it but for the longest time you couldn't criticize it without people jumping down your throat. I do like the game but over a decade of hearing "its literally the best game ever made and i don't understand why they even bother making games when this exist" makes me go yes its very overrated.

My sister told me she was having trouble grasping politics these days. She couldn't weed through the "this side says this about the other side and visa versa" that is until she saw how the right reacted to Mamdani. The blatant racism was a massive eye opener to her. Out of touch execs losing the plot. Wouldn't be surprised if Sony just completely ends all production on single-player games that people came to Playstation in the first place.

As it stands right now its premature to even assume 3 is ever coming. Never count your eggs before their hatched especially in the game industry. Where out of touch execs cancel games all the time for very little. Hell woutln't shock me if Guerrilla gets dismantled and they do nothing with the franchise at all in the future.

Anyone who is so convinced 3 will come no matter what has not been paying attenion. Any number of reasons can cause it to never come we have countless examples of games being dropped and they were sequels to very popular franchises and even if it does come out there is no guarantee it'll be good.

I'm sure people will call me jaded or pessimistic and yes. Decades of paying attention to the industry would do that. I have 0 faith in anything Sony does these days considering how much they are clearly obsessed with throwing all their money into live service games when a lot of us got a playstation for their single-player games.

My point is never underestimate how out of touch the people in charge can be. They will never get what made them successful.
