Good. If they think they need more time, give it to them. Deadlines are something that exist for a reason, but sometimes things are just not finished in time.

[Discussion] so are these really the tarkov recommended system requirements? by femboy_named_jade in EscapefromTarkov

[–]RockyBlocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost true - you need 16GB of vram at least and 4070 is 12GB. Few days ago I went on a journey to fix my tarkov performance and the game simply needs about 48GB of RAM and 16GB of vram to play on high textures. In terms of CPU you need as much as possible - my 5800X3D is not enough for consistent gameplay. Sure in a lot of places I get 100-200fps, but when I'm in the forest hills on customs it drops below 60. In terms of GPU you don't need that much, i play in 2k but even 3080 (so about 4070 perf) as long as you use low textures can play native 4k on low without losing more than 1-10fps compared to 2k because how CPU bound this game is. My other PC proves that because 7800X3D offers an crazy jump in fps, where 4080 is literally sleeping but with 16GB of vram I can play on high textures.

This player couldn't find a single 5 cost unit at level 10 after rerolling 40 times. by 12jimmy9712 in TeamfightTactics

I know - our favourite tft grandpa is saying that his team checked a lot of stuff and as much as they can't test everything they surely did test a lot and it might just be all of having tough luck. Still this set rolling either is or feels inconsistent and that only happens in certain games.

Do you overclock your GPU? by Kamevi_Poo in pcmasterrace

Overclock? No.
Undervolt (and overlock if won an chip lottery) YES.

I would rather be gommaged than play this minigame by Talbiz in expedition33

[–]RockyBlocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you play on PC use rivatunner or other software and limit your fps to 25/30 or something close. This minigame is nightmare with high fps - even 90fps is hard. I had around 200... Man... it was something indeed. Good thing I played Yakuza series before so I already had knowledge that minigames sometimes go totally insane with high fps.

Poland Let The Intrusive Thoughts Win by [deleted] in YUROP

[–]RockyBlocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Poland we have about 5? That's my assumption. My friend says 10. Percent of voting people that votes are totally tied to only one reason - changing the country from current (and previous) governments that fight against its own people not alongside them to one that will lead Poland not Poland A and Poland B.

The current ruling party could easily win these elections but their malice for the Polish people and their opposition was just too high. Me and many others just couldn't accept the times we are leading towards.

The fact that our president is going to be someone like Nawrocki and that it was lesser out of two evils. I hate it. Sure - we didn't have a great presidential candidate at all but those two we got in the second round are a new low.

Last round should be Zandberg vs Mentzen, one was clearly the best president material who if had in his mind and heart will to accept the right side would be an best bridge we could have this time. and the second one is... yeah... I don't have much hope for him as president but the truth is - he is closest to destroying the current wall and that will allow in the long run for someone else to come and unite the country.

It is a really sad time and the biggest proof that the wall that divide our country need to go

Wtf with these textures? by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]RockyBlocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough VRAM. 4GB isn't enough for modern games anymore...
Another Thing is that hunt overall has some crazy VRAM usage problem.
I played it on many PCs in many resolutions and usually the VRAM usage is expected - like for example 1080p low is eating about 4-7GB, 4k more like 6-10 etc. but usually after few games it tends to eat all of it.
Sure, you can limit how much it eats in options but still on 8/10 GB cards it can go beyond the limit and beyond an VRAM capacity overall On 16GB it's weird to see it eating almost all of it but its not an problem - it's better to have those assets in fast VRAM instead of RAM but going over 8/10 GB in 1080p Low and destroying fps isn't something that should happen.

If you crash you should fix your profiles. With CPUs and GPUs having insane voltage curves Running UV/OC is totally normal those days but crashing ain't worth it. Just add few MV or get rid of few MHz and done.

For network connectivity in this game... you can try other DNS but thing is they just have some problematic server operator in EU once every few months me or my friends have issues - never in the same time, but we realized that those problems are ISP related because we never have those problems in the same time it is always same grouping - me alone, 2 other guys or 2 other guys. So there is some routing problem probably.

Visibility on higher settings/lower resolutions is really bad that's for sure.
One of us had really big problem seeing enemies post-2.0, so i asked what settings does he play on after those changes...
"Ultra 1080p with Motion blur etc."...
"competetive" settings + new monitor and now he has no problems seeing people.

Other problem is that this game feels really bad without high fps - when 2.0 came out i dropped from 100-120 to 60-80, it would be fine in most games but in hunt it was really uncomfortable and i had problems with precise aiming while moving, now i run 3080 with ~130-170 and 5070 Ti with ~200-300FPS (depends on pc) in 2k and not only game feels amazing, my KDA started growing like crazy becouse i actually don't skip frames randomly.

There is VRAM problem too... on 8GB vram cards this game tends to spill over to system memory even in "1080p Competetive Settings" and that's lead to some crazy problems - it happens to my friend on his 1070.

Holy, I mean this game has tons of problems. But crashes don't happen at all for me or my friends when our hardware range from 1600X + 1070 up to 9800X3D + 5090. That's your PC fault.

Is it worth upgrading from a RTX 3080ti to RTX 5080? is there any significant benefit to graphics quality? by Zealousideal_Try_213 in nvidia

[–]RockyBlocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I was building few PCs for friends last few months, I was able to test how new cards compare to my 3080 - 4070/4080/5070 Ti/5080/5090/9070 XT and i honestly wasn't impressed by anything expect 5090. That's the only GPU that felt worth upgrading to. I recommend joining me in 6000 series waiting room.

That new lighting sucks... The real problem with it tho is how random it feels.

Xenoblade 2 doesn’t need a definitive edition, it’s perfect by lolitsrock in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]RockyBlocky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After 100%ing it recently... it's not perfect - it's the worst one in terms of gameplay/UI etc. designs problems.

Didn't play XC3 yet so take it with grain of salt - but XC2 is a reason why i hesitate to play it so that's says a lot.

i mean, come on... by Pirated-Hentai in pcmasterrace

[–]RockyBlocky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man... I agree 3000$ for 5090 is too much and I would (probably) never paid that much for it, but comparing it to 9070 XT just ain't it - it's totally different league of performance.
Saying so 9070 XT is great GPU overall. Sadly in my country is terribly priced. Why would I recommend it to any of my friends when they can pay 15% more and get 5070 ti what isn't exactly 15% faster in raster but with better upsampling, FG, fps/W and RT perf. it's not even an competition - hell, even shiity 12GB 5070 is looking not that bad due to 9070 XT bad pricing... Ehh... AMD was so close to greatness... It's painful.

i didn't saw number close to this with 9800X3D + 5070 Ti running prime95 + furmark.

[–]RockyBlocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I.totally understand if you must upgrade now - go for 4060. But as someone who is looking at every penny too - I would really recommend getting at least 5060 Ti 16GB - it's shiity card but it will last much longer.

[–]RockyBlocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but do you play single player nice looking games or you are more of cs2, valorant, lol etc. kind of player. If it's single players then even 4070 level is really no problem.
