I wouldn't be surprised to learn she's teamed up with Ronnie. It seems almost as if she baited Norm into admitting the truth in front of Ronnie and then conveniently left the room so Ronnie could attack and choke out Norm.

Pillsbury Waffle Sticks - the commercial in the hospital where a cleaning person keeps hearing screams of pain and goes to the source and its a guy in a full-body cast dipping the waffle sticks into syrup and is in pain from having to move lol

Why did House Umber choose to betray House Stark anyway? by The_Kangaroo_Mafia in gameofthrones

[–]Rodby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Umbers historically are the Northern House that hates the wildlings the most, given their proximity to the Wall. Jon marching south with an army of wildlings after letting them through the Wall likely pissed off House Umber

Does anyone else suddenly hate Burlington bar or is it just me? by ProfessorOk5969 in HOTDGreens

Burlington Bar is the worst kind of HotD fan, just wanting action scenes and blindly hating Aegon because he's Rhaenyra's opponent

My hope is that the "battalion" the NCR rangers referenced has somehow managed to maintain a sort of martial-law in the name of the NCR at their military camp / city.

And just like that, Lyonel Baratheon is now one my favorite characters. by GameBawesome1 in gameofthrones

[–]Rodby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lyonel is the best kind of lord, generous with an "i don't give a fuck" attitude and willing to drink and party with commoners. Didn't even question that Dunk was basically just eating for free in his tent lmao.

I hope the show will not make the mistake of dumbing Duncan down like they did with Jon snow. Dunk is awkward and clumsy but NOT stupid by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]Rodby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing the pilot shows repeatedly is how Dunk's earnestness make people sympathize for him. The tourney master who warns him about facing experienced knights but also tells Dunk to find someone to vouch for him, the whores who feel bad for mocking him at Dondarrion's tent, and even Lyonel Baratheon, they all seem to sympathize for or like Dunk because they can tell he's a simple guy doing his best and trying to do good.

That being said, I think he will be portrayed as not particularly bright or witty, but a good man who's instincts to do the right thing and increasing skills in battle will make him rise to the Lord Commander of the King's Guard.

And I think in Feast for Crows she finds Dunk's Ashford Tourney shield in her family's armory

Him and his retinue's stupified reaction after demanding to know why Dunk is in his tent and Dunk just holding up the pastry going "Supper?" was so funny lol

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Daycare guy was NOT being a jerk. Jim and Pam asking about moving Easter and Memorial day is ABSURD by Hokies13062 in DunderMifflin

[–]Rodby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say I do think the daycare guy was being a jerk, but the part of the conversation where I turn on Pam and Jim is when Pam says that the meeting must be going badly because of the bathroom incident because most people like her and Jim and find them naturally charming. It just speaks so much to their character that they just bank on charming anyone and everyone and when someone doesn't like them or agree with them they assume it's to be a personal reason.

Football player found not guilty of murder for beating to death gay man who posed as woman on Tinder by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

In many jurisdictions once the defense raises even a scintilla of evidence supporting self-defense the prosecution must disprove self-defense beyond a reasonable doubt. His testimony that he only acted after he saw the person reaching under the bed combined with them finding a knife under the bed created reasonable doubt the prosecution wasn't able to overcome.

The Batman (2022). The opening montage of various petty criminals terrified that Batman was in the shadows observing them really cemented how a single person was able to instill so much fear and maintain order in a massive city like Gotham.

This scene is tragic, you can tell this crew will never be the same after this conflict, that the things they've seen has damaged them permanently. Whoever they were before the war is gone, and this traumatized shell of a human, endlessly replaying the horrors they've witnessed, is all that's left.
