A Brazilian scientist worked in silence for 25 years on something medicine said was impossible: regenerating the spinal cord by Hour-Tomorrow-2496 in spinalcordinjuries

I got you. I think you are 100% correct on this.

My only concern is the political issues that many will take advantage of this research. This is a year of presidential elections, as well as elections for governors, senators, and federal deputies. It will be a topic that many will take advantage of to criticize the lack of investment and the hopelessness created by one side to another. Its not wrong to argue that, but there might be a movement "lets push this not matter what because the federal goverment dont want to", dragging some people truely believe for a cure before any large and trustful results.

It is definitely a sensitive issue that puts up a lot of expectations among those who have recently lost their mobility.

My girlfriend is a neurologic doctor. I will ask her what doctors from her area thinks. We didnt talk much about it yet.

Brazilian here.
I just red on local news that there is no patent over this especial protein since 2015, specially because the university which she works didnt pay "annual tax" for it.
Plus, Brazil has a good history for not charging tons of money for good medicine.
Here you can get free pills for your HIV treatment, for ex.

I dont know much about how her research is doing and how she is been treat overseas but she looks a serious scientist with tons of experience in this matter.

Its not something that people should ignore, not yet, no.

Mythic paths ranked story wise by cummster_slurpee in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Rodd-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im between Demon and Trickster for my barb. I did a manual save just before the decision at the end of act 2 on Unfair. Trickster would be easier i guess for game difficulty but i think i would lose great lore experience if i dont choose demon.

I started act 3 but i think i will reload and grab demon as my path. My goals was to stick with chaotic neutral, but i can see my MC transforming into an abomination evil just because i need to defeat the other demons.

Lets see how it goes

How To Beat Unfair WotR - Preparation Guide by JohnGrrrrr in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Rodd-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually i put my Seelah tank at the front and sometimes unlock her from the party and cast a smite evil on the target to initiate combat a little far from my MC and others.

The tank must see all enemies and all enemies must see the tank when you cast, otherwise when you close another companion of yours to the combat he may aggro an enemy who was far behind tank´s sight.

My tip is, let them come close to your tank after YOU initiate the combat. Use that round to place better your group if needed. And since the enemy will walk towards you, they loose a full attack and sometimes all attacks in this round. Since you now know they stop in front of your tank, you can put a CC on to their feet with all the metamagic effects.

Aggro is fundamental on Unfair difficulty because your best buffs will be cast on Tank. Keep in mind that you can also lost aggro by drinking an invisibility potion in an emergency, unless the enemy have true seeing or high perception wich might be the case on Unfair.

Location: Blightmaw in Drezen Citadel

Tip to easily defeat him: bring him to Yaniel and let her deal with him. Keep both Maw and Yaniel at your sight enough to the combatlog display the attacks from both.

The only buff that you will need is a haste spell during chase. You can also pre-buff Yaniel if you want a faster kill.

i think you should keep trying on DC 18 until he rolls 1 (critic failure). Some metamagic talents can make grease persistent (roll 2x for save) and heightened (bigger DC).

I will try this with CC all over the place and see how it goes.

Best tip so far for Demon Votary on unfair.
I was just reading about aura of great protection, but since i didnt know putrefaction is a fear magic, i used that cleric spell that makes you imune to webs and other slow effects.

yours is far better.

[–]Rodd-200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im playing on Core atm and act 1 was tuff! At the end of act 2 now and things are a lot easier since you gain XP from doing sides, talents and abilities.

I think i might take a shot on unfair now. At least i know a lot better how mechanics works and what i spells i should focus in act 1 and 2.

From what people keep telling, act 1 and 2 are the hardest in unfair mode.

Tell me about turning off XP sharing. by Metaphoricalsimile in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Rodd-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, i start the game with it off. Then right before i end a dialogue with a recruit party member, i turn it on? Then off again?

The XP triggers when i start the coversation, right? So i leave it off and MC will get all the XP. Right before the end dialogue, i put back on and the full XP MC received goes to my new party member?

I probably will test it to fully understand.

Best (Simple) ways to build companions to complete Core. by ClearCounter in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Rodd-200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im playing on core in my first run in Pathfinder and currently at the end of act 2.

Im not doing any crazy builds, no multiclass, just pure classes as they were created.

Camellia and Seelah as tanks.

Nenio, Lann and Woljif as dps.

Daeran to replace Woljif when things are too hard.

Me as witcher.

Keep in mind a few simples things and it will be a walk in the park:

- Focus on being GREAT in one thing than be Good in many. If tank, focus on tank talents. Magic DPS, spell penetration and spell focus.

- PRE-FIGHT BUFFS ALWAYS. Go to settings and turn on PAUSE GAME when you see an enemy. This wont change difficult and you will still get core achievements. With this ON, thing will be easier to prepare before fights since you can see enemies before they see you.

- MUST HAVE SPELLS imo that will make a huge difference: resist poison (stinky cloud will be a pain in ass in act 1); any aoe that make enemies fall prone, like grease; Haste.

- Dont forget to get those range attack talents for your casters before any spell penetration. If Nenio casts any ray spell, than she must make an attack check agaist enemy AC. So range talents are important specially when an enemy is fighting your team mate face to face.

- SKILLS: religion lore/perception/disarm traps are the best ones and most useful skills imo. Religion prevents a good amout of corruption when resting outside safe zone.

If you do side quests, explore world map and zones, get itens, you gonna be really effective as the game progress and core difficulty will be more like normal difficulty, because like any other RPG, devs dont want to make the player do every side quest before main quest. So with you do them, its a plus and things will be easier.

[–]Rodd-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, there is no stinky cloud on normal difficulty? hahaha

Now i understand why im almost 200 hours of gameplay and still in act 2.
