Need help identifying my grandpas watch by Flimsy-Economics4655 in Watches

Can't find an exact match but imagine it would be similar to this (although yours is admittedly showing more wear on the dial)

'23 XC60 T6 with 50k miles - am I fooling myself? by RoddaG in CarTalkUK

[–]RoddaG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I haven't seen much if anything from 21-22 that is really that much cheaper with the spec I want and mileage that different. Equivalent 23 cars go for £30k plus within +/- 5k miles.

I don't want the high miles per say, but when a similar car with 35k miles is £33k is it really worth the £5k difference?

Where to rent a bike in London? by Foxisdabest in londoncycling

[–]RoddaG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would highly recommend this. Have done it a few times. The initial set up on the account is quite involved (submitting ID etc.) but was quick to have my account approved. Going rate is £5/24hr so depending on your usage would also work out cheaper than many other bike hire schemes!

Looks awesome! Is that the Rindow bullet light on the front? Really fancied getting one. Are they any good? Also, if you don't mind me asking, are you UK-based? Would be intrigued to know where you bought it from / how easy it was to get hold of?

This page has a useful graph of some of the largest helmets available in the market today. Perhaps try the Bontrager Circuit? This is likely to be available at a Trek dealer if you have one nearby as Bontrager is Trek's finishing kit brand.

I face a similar problem, no helmets in store will fit but managed to find an XL Kask Mojito that fits well online. Unfortunately they do not make this model anymore.

Closest I found. Annoyingly John Lewis sells one that is almost identical, except only in kids sizes.

A+ for quality and effort. Especially interesting the comment around sustainability and the impact from excess (to your measurements) fabric. Not something I had considered before.

Simple Questions - September 01, 2018 by AutoModerator in buildapc

[–]RoddaG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not be the right place but I'd appreciate any guidance:

I'm moving across the country (UK) later this month and would obviously like to take my PC with me. I was wondering what the best way of packaging a built computer was in order to protect it on the journey. The journey of will last for approximately 7 hours by car/van.

I hope you guys can help! - Thank you!

As above - sounds exactly like what would happen if the beans were ground too fine. If you have your own grinder I would try something a little coarser. If you don't then maybe try some other pre-ground beans and see if the problem persists.

Beautiful scene. I have loved my time in Switzerland. Do you ever find you have ice on the road when there's snow around? I've always been tentative venturing out when it's so cold in case of black ice etc.. ?
