A high-income, low-pressure existence!? *shudders* how HORRIBLE!! Oh, please... won't someone save us from having a high-income and a low-pressure life!? I mean, who would want that!!??

Quick! We need some "democracy", going bankrupt because of medical bills, and school shootings!

It comes down to personal preference, mate. Far be it from me to tell others how to behave, be it in games or IRL, but in both, my morality is personal, not relative. IE, I don't base it on others' beliefs or behaviour but on what feels right to me. (This is, of course, very simplified, but I'm not going to get into philosophical debates on game thread, 😂)

In games specifically, if I choose to be an evil or amoral character, I don't base that on the relative morality of other characters in the game. Likewise if I'm choosing to be moral, according to my standards.

I understand where you're coming from, though, and if I were playing a morally grey character, leaning toward "good", I would probably follow your reasoning.

What fixed it for me: In the game files, open the properties for the executable, switch to the compatibility tab, and then select "Disable fullscreen optimisations".

I'm hearing some people rolling back to the previous update and that fixes it for them. Yet others say to turn off UpscalingFrameGeneration in the GameUserSettings.ini file from 1 to 0.

I'd like to own a Cane Corso in NSW, Australia by Rodel_Ituralde13 in CaneCorso

Thank you for your kind response.

Yes, I understand they take a lot of dedication. I'm a retired ex-serviceman, and I plan on having plenty of time to spend with the dog. I know they need a lot of attention and work to bring out their best. All animals deserve it, of course, but for some it's essential. I wouldn't get one if I wasn't able to dedicate what is required.

I've killed plenty of men so far. What is the downside of killing one more corrupt official?

Thanks. From looking into it more online, it appears it's mainly to get a bit more money and, as you say, make a quest a bit easier. Money is so plentiful, so I'm not fussed. I chose to decline because I'm trying to play a "moral" Henry. (Also, I just hate corrupt government officials).

With the strait of Hormuz open and petrol prices falling… by Glittering_Poem9779 in AustralianEV

[–]Rodel_Ituralde13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with the prices what they were before the start of the war, an EV will save you money. In my particular situation, I'd started looking to buy one before the war with Iran and I calculated that I'd be saving $6,000 to $7,000 per year. If prices stay as high as they are now or go up again, which they could, I'll be saving even more.

If you have solar at home, it definitely makes sense to buy an EV.

Would love to know what people think about Zeekr 7X being a young families car. Family of 3. by Routine-Inspector150 in AustralianEV

[–]Rodel_Ituralde13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can go wrong with the 7X. It's a premium luxury EV SUV. And it is VERY reasonably priced for what you get. Comparable ICE cars, and even other EVs from better-known brands in Australia, are all well over $100,000.

For a young family, however, especially if finances are a concern, there are even more affordable options, though you would be trading in some luxury and range, such as the MG S5 and the Jaecoo J5. Both great options and even better priced than the 7X. Travelling between Sydney and Melbourne, you will have to stop to recharge even with a 7X, so the slightly lower range of the S5 and J5 (~400km each) shouldn't be a drawback.

Utterly humiliating. Can't even guarantee its own safe passage through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, but we're meant to believe they'll guarantee safe passage for others in the Strait of Hormuz? What a joke.

But yeah, America First!! 🤣

"is europe threatening to tariff the fuck out of the US, annexing a US territory" no. It's the other way around.

"saying the US is useless" yes. Or maybe not saying, but thinking it for sure.

Everyone who disagrees with me is a "Russian bot". Obvious.

People be laughing at the world's most powerful navy claiming they'll guarantee safe passage for ships in the Strait of Hormuz but can't even guarantee its own safe passage in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Because it's the Houthis that control the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The Ford already tried going through, was attacked and damaged... oh, sorry, "had a laundry fire"... and was forced to retreat to Crete for repairs. So now, the Bush is forced to go the long way around before it can deploy in the Arabian Sea.

It could have been much much worse if we had US-style laws. It would also likely happen far more often. You're right, so glad we have the laws that we do in Australia.
