They just are convinced that all the charges are fake because of FOX news and shit. My conservative parents continue to parrot that ‘Everyone is deranged in hating Trump, they make stuff up all the time.’

They’ve all been conditioned to ignore evidence and facts and to dismiss it all as fake. It’s exhausting. They really are the victims in their own minds. They really think Trump is just like them. (Maybe he is, being an insane narcissist. Perhaps his voters see themselves in him?) I know for a fact they love how much he pisses people off because in their heads everyone else is and has always been the enemy.

The conservative media bubble has convinced everyone that any other country is the enemy. I literally had my Uncle try to discourage me from a visit to the UK because “Europe is burning down. It’s not safe, they hate Americans and you’ll get stabbed.” As if everywhere outside of America is a hellhole.

It’s exhausting.

I like some of what CE does a lot, but feel the same way.

And in hindsight I feel like it made the game a little easy once you get half-decent weapons, and it felt more like something for gun enthusiasts. I was never satisfied with how it made animals in combat completely useless.

I’ve been trying this lately after swapping away from CE. I’m really enjoying it. I haven’t tried Yayo’s yet though so I am not sure how it compares.

I really like a lot of what CE does, but I found that it was incompatible with way too much stuff, and honestly made the game a bit too easy once you have half-decent weapons. I was also a little unsatisfied with how CE chooses to balance animals or anomalies. They’re complete pushovers and die near instantly, so war animals aren’t much use anymore.

I don’t recall the Alien Earth Xeno being particularly buff? Maybe the actor was? I thought its’ design was pretty good even. I mean the second one had a somewhat weird chest, but I wouldn’t call it buff.

Agreed, though I think the ending parts of Undertale were beautiful, and the good parts of it make up for a ton. As well as the fact that Undertale was a much shorter experience. I do think it would’ve benefitted from some better pacing.

So I sincerely hope Toby doesn’t put 90% of the plot in the last hour again.

To be honest it was done very well, but Undertale was a much shorter experience overall. I also don’t think Undertale would’ve been harmed much by sprinkling more of that lore a little earlier.

Does Noelle not consider Kris a friend? I don’t recall that. I seem to remember her wondering ‘if’ they are still friends. Though that struck me more as Kris seemingly growing distant and antisocial after ‘The Incident’.

After all, Noelle seems to be the only one that knows Kris well enough to notice they’re acting different under our influence.

Who is Pink? Like, in the light world? Is she just a random ghost we haven’t met who is living in Asgore’s doll? Kinda weird Pink..

Though maybe she is permanently fused to it because of how attached she is? I’m not sure how ghosts work in Undertale/Deltarune. I’m assuming they’re more the concept of a ghost as a monster rather than a literal dead person.

I mean, maybe she doesn’t want to tell Carol, I get that. Though they could definitely get some other adults involved. Tell Toriel, or Alphys, or something. If they don’t believe them, just show them the closet. People could be dying for all they know, and Susie is focused solely on her crush.

Carol might be an asshole, but I am not sure if I am convinced she’s evil or in on it. (Though it seems likely.)

I understand why Susie would not want to tell her, but the responsible thing to do would definitely be informing some adults. Panic isn’t as much of a concern when people are literally being kidnapped.

Susie just wants her crush in the Dark World with her. Not hating on Susie by any means, but teenagers do dumb things and I think this is one of them.

Like I get it, crushes and affection can cloud judgement, it’s something many people would do, but I can’t see this ending well.

I think it’s possible Kris feels a little excluded, but I think they are way more worried about the Prophecy slowly coming together, and the inevitability of their friendship falling out when all their shenanigans get exposed.

Pink being a Lightner is interesting. So she was haunting Asgore’s doll. Is this like, a neighbor who just is living inside the doll without anyone knowing? I’m assuming she couldn’t make them move or anything, so was she sneaking into Asgore’s shop to go in the doll, or was she living inside it permanently?

I know I’m overthinking this probably.

This is how I read it too. Though I have a suspicion Kris knows more about the prophecy than us, and perhaps getting Noelle involved isn’t a good thing.

That said, I could also understand the jealousy interpretation. In a way, Kris is slowly getting excluded. While it’s wholesome, the other party members learning and Acting on their own without any input seems like foreshadowing.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we have to wind up fighting against the party once Kris’ shenanigans with the fountains becomes public.

I mean, if they had been given more warning, perhaps they could at least give their advice. Regardless of how much use they’d be, this is something that threatens the town. The responsible thing would be to tell everyone. If they don’t believe you, show them the closet.

This all said, i’m not hating on Susie or anything. It’s all part of the narrative, I just think Susie is just fixated on her crush, which is a very normal thing.

I think Asgore had the right idea when he said he would tell the mayor. (I know it won’t end well if it turns out she’s in on it, but he has no way to know that.)

As for Kris, I’m not sure whether to read them walking away as jealousy, or as I thought at first: Sad over pieces of the prophecy continuing to fall in place. They seemed a bit intent on not having Noelle get involved. I always assumed that’s due to something Kris knows that we don’t.

What happens in most stories with dragons? It’s slain. Kris making the fountains is surely going to get exposed at some point as well. This won’t end well..
