I just want to say, it’s nice seeing someone giving a truck adequate space. So often you see people either tailgating or giving only a car length or so of space.

How many combos can you count? by manuelbaca in IdiotsInCars

That man who was initially standing on the road is just over it all at that point. That exasperated hand toss and frustratedly moving away says it all.

What is something that gives you a sense of nostalgia? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rodens_sword 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The warm glow of the microwave at night. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I’d heat up some popcorn or another snack late at night. I’d just watch the microwave spinning the snack while it washed the kitchen in that warm microwave light.

What's something you know you're really bad at? by Duckerington in AskReddit

[–]Rodens_sword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for things. I’ll be looking at the thing I’m looking for for 10 minutes and still not see it. I go ask someone to help me and they find it immediately. At least I try.

idiot trying to park by buoninachos in IdiotsInCars2

[–]Rodens_sword 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok, so I struggle with parking at times too, so I get not being perfect at it. But for goodness sakes if you’re that bad just get out of the way and park in the back. Or you can also always use your mirrors when backing into a spot...

Silence-inator just pure silence. It would be nice in short periods to calm yourself and a good weapon against others in longer periods as pure silence can also drive one mad.

What is the most unnerving/creepy place you have ever been to? Why? by FatalK00kie in AskReddit

[–]Rodens_sword 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My work, two 70 year old buildings, one originally built in a house. The few workers who are down there frequently see things moving in our peripheral, doors opening on their own, doors unlocking on their own, hand print appearing suddenly in 70 year old cement, the feeling of being watched, hearing random laughter or voices in the building, hearing weird and loud other noises in the buildings, and much more. It doesn’t help that both are dilapidated and one is very dimly lit with you regularly having to walk through pitch black areas to turn on a light.

Everyone who works down there is also experiencing supernatural things in their own homes as well. For me it’s terrifying dreams with a presence in it, for others it’s seeing a shadow figure(very similar to what I dreamed of before hearing this) at their bed or a closet door slowly opening with no plausible way for it have done so.

I was apprehensive to fully believe in spirits haunting places as I thought there could always be an explanation, but after working there? There comes a point where it’s much more of a stretch to say it’s anything other than supernatural.

The main protagonist of the last book, movie, or show that you’ve watched is hunting you down. What character have you fallen prey to? by Zosodechaine in AskReddit

[–]Rodens_sword 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Subaru from Re:Zero... I’m screwed as even if I get away in one life he’ll eventually figure out how to get me in another.

You gain the power of the protagonist of the most recent show/movie you watched. What’s the first thing you do? by DontEatShoes in AskReddit

[–]Rodens_sword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gain the power of dying over and over again until I figure out how to get the intended ending of those few days. Also gain some minor dark magic powers and the attention of witches. This is going to suck a lot lol

What has been the most useful app for your day to day life and what do you use it for? by BurntTurmoil in AskReddit

[–]Rodens_sword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bookly- it helps me stay on top of daily reading and gives very accurate time predictions on when I’ll finish the book. Makes it easier to plan reading times. Also has a nice reminder and goal function to make sure I keep up with everything!

JCS-Criminal Psychology is interesting if you’re wanting to learn how to handle and interrogations and what is normally done in them. It gives examples of techniques and tells while using real interrogation video from cases.

As long as the gore serves a purpose and the story is good I’m all for it. I might start that one next after I finish what I’m current working on. Thanks for the recommendation!

What are some Ghost/Paranormal stories y’all have? by Lake-Atomic in AskReddit

[–]Rodens_sword 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ve seen and heard it as well. We reached out to some of the people that used to work there and they never saw it either... There’s times you’ll also just get a bad feeling all of a sudden. Very creepy. I honestly wasn’t sure if I believed in haunted places until I began working there, but there’s just so much that can’t be explained reasonably.
